Rocky River Steelhead - Two Casts in a Row!

- Steelhead fishing the Rocky River in Ohio. Started at sunrise and managed to land two spring run steelhead before work... on back-to-back casts!
Setup: Using 10lb main line (braid) and 8lb leader (fluorocarbon). 8gram float with a 1/4 oz sliding weight on the main line. 1/32 oz jig with a 1.5 inch white crappie tube.

Nothing feels better than the tug of a fish after a long grind
It was definitely a grind for these two. Two hours and two spots with nothing before these two. Only makes it sweeter
Reel Roman Fishing season is definitely winding down fast. I’ve started fishing specifically for smallmouth. Caught a few steelhead as a bycatch
I’ll be making the switch soon too, but hoping for another week or so at least chasing chrome

I’m not sure man. This rain over the next few days is making me really nervous, but I think there will still be some fish to be caught after. Just not in very great numbers
