  • Rest in peace Stephen Sondheim.
Everybody says don't from our streamed concert at Södra Teatern 01 July 2021. Today we think this is a fitting tune to pay tribute to the fantastic Stephen Sondheim, one of the greatest.
Everybody says don't is a hidden gem from the musical Anyone can whistle.
    Arrangement: Aarong Dale
Video and soundrecording: Mats Helgesson Ringmasters:
    Jakob Stenberg
    Rasmus Krigström
    Emanuel Roll
    Didier Linder

The rapid-fire delivery of lyrics tells me none of these great singers have dentures.

I love when Emmanuel takes the tenor part at the TAG! This is the cleanest crispiest version of this, we love it! Thanks you Ringmasters for paying tribute to Sondheim!

I was devastated when I got the news… Sondheim was such an inspiration. I‘m so grateful for the way his work has shaped me as a person and for all the joy his music has brought me. What a legend.

I was NOT expecting the tag to take the direction it did. Amazing sound. Well done as always, gentlemen!!

Wow! Hearing a hanger like that on the third is so rare! Fantastic arrangement and performance - nice of you to honor Sondheim in the process :)

Emanuel turns out as a tenor at the end 😃 - great, as the whole performance. Thank you!

@@bond007rules technically E4 but still ridiculous eitherway

    • @bond007rules
      @bond007rules 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@MSA03 it's well sung, don't get me wrong, but most trained basses will have a comfortable E4 at the very least. I personally know a couple of people who have a comfortable D2 but can hit A4 if they're really going for it (or just listen to Patrick Page /Tuukka Haapaniemi/Anders Jalkeus). Again, it's good singing, but not really mind-blowing.

Disappointed that there was no Saturday upload of a song from summer show on youtube, what happened ? Lots of new stuff from the US military bands and choruses, but not from you guys. Did they crowd you out? Still in anticipation for something new, --in California there's still a couple of hours until midnight. and hey, when will your new CD be out?

It is! It seems like everyone took turns at tenor here, Emanuel also took some tenor throughout (e.g. 0:00-0:21, 1:36-1:52).
Also I just realised that at 1:52 the tenor switched from Emanuel to Rasmus, holy switch there...
