Ecos switch pilot update & adding a accessory to the pilot

An update of where i am up to on installing switch pilots, i am installing my seventh decoder module .
I also show how to add track piont to the ecos & switch pilot.

Hi, thank you for sharing so much imfo. with us, in an understandable way. Some time ago I moved over to DCC, and I think I followed one of your videos on setting up a switchpilot servo. Well that was a few years ago, and I don't seem to be able to find your video again. Theres lots on Utube in other languages, but it was yours I followed to set mine up. The Switchpilots I used where the earlier type with 3 press buttons One bigish LED and 4 seperate LEDS for each servo. Some how one of my servos travel has drifted or the points moved and I need to reset it. Please could you put that old video back up, it was so easy to follow. All the Best....T..

Hi, not sure about roco turnouts but they should work like a fleischmann turnout motors..check all wireing to the esu accessory decoder terminals where the screws are , make sure the wires from the point motor make proper contact , it could also be a faluty turout motor that is working in only one direction....jim

@delboyjdf Thanks for the info , i was working on a site & the electrical engineers said the same process , also there is a special solder for soldering nickle silver they said., I will try scratching the areas next time with a micro file..... Thamks jim

Very good Jim. Still having problems uploading British loco images even though I have registered my ECoS. Am I doing something wrong.......and obvious that I just not see it!

can you see any images of locos in the download area? if you can just type the class of loco e.g class 47 and the images should show up.

Ihave switchpilot and rocos turnout and 40296 when I click turnouts move i one direction when I klick for opposite direction it just click clink and turnout not move

Bears Trains Hi, great question...
I think the lenz LS 150 and other similar decoders which use the track connection to talk to the ecos are compatable,
best to check the esos forum etc...

My Ecos finally turned up and it can operate DCC Concepts acc decoders and an old Hornby thing. Just put the address in the track plan and away it goes
