Animesh Halder the owner of Bigchan Brothers. I know him for last two years & I visited his farm first time to purchase Ruykin almost 2 years back when he just launched his business. I am an exotic goldfish lover & I purchased exotic goldies from many other popular seller also. While comparing with others I realized his fish body & bloodline is really strong. Moreover he has very strong knowledge on this topic & his continuous guidance is really make me inspired on this hobby. I am just fan of this guy due to his gentle behavior & excellent knowledge.

Truly amazing goldfish in terms of size, shape and bloodline. But not all genuine goldfish lovers can afford to keep this kind of goldfish due to its price. Basically these fishes are much cheaper in their origin country. We need to have more sellers in India. Only sharp competition can bring their prices down. In a monopoly market sellers ask for anything come to their minds. 20k or 30k is a highly exorbitant price. While in their origin country they cost mere 5 to 7k. Good quality goldfish price in India is pure insane.
We are working on the price. Yes it can be reduce if we order in bulk(300-500) pieces.. but the point is due to lack of awareness we still don't have a big market like we have for flower horn or arowana. So bringing that many fishes risky for us right now.. once my farm on full size, I am ready to take the risk.. still we need you guys support n promotion to increase the customer base.. on seller competition basis, after Bigchan Brothers came into market yes lot of seller started bring exotic goldfish in India. Last 2 years the number of exotic goldfish seller increased a lot, that never before.. we need some more push🌚

Awesome varieties! Few observation as a fellow hobbyist, the price of exotic gold fishes are 4 times higher in India than their origin country. This could be due to monopoly and more sellers competing will make this market fair priced. Also a hobbyist will have capacity to maintain an average of 4-8 GFs. So, sellers should understand an enquiry for price may or may not end in a purchase. After-all when you spend your hard earned money for you passion, we need to balance between them. I am confident that the prices will come down as I am already seeing the pandas and tri-color which used to be 5K in 2021, but now is available for 1.5K. Sellers be patient and promote by creating interest!

Imported GF fish will always be expensive. It's other thing that local breeder begin to breed them locally, then there is a drop in price. Been in hobby since 2016, i can say at that time, varieties were less and prices were high as compared to now.
@@animeshhalder503a 50$ Ranchu in Thailand sells for 15k here. Importers will need 100% profit or even more to cover the costs of DOA. One death of imported fish would make a huge loss. Another issue is ofcourse customs duties.

Firstly, Animesh da, owner of Bigchan Brothers, is a very genuine, jolly and always ready to help kind of person. I have personally visited his home and farm 2-3 times and spent some quality time there gossiping while having tea.
