Lets see here, under rated bassist, under rated drummer, best vocals in music, biggest bad ass guitarist, and sweet rhythm guitar....aerosmith fucking rocks
I'm a John Paul Jone Jones fan (best thing to ever happen to a bass guitar) but this is the sweetest riff to ever flow from a bass. When he came up with this one Tom made that once in a generation reach into some other worldly creative place and snatched up "the riff". 40 years of listening to this and chills every time it begins.
I was watching this when i was like 11 years old and i was thinking that the bass solo was so cool and in that moment i wanted to Play Bass i am now almost 25years old and still plays bass: Edit thanks Aerosmith for helping me discover more awsome Songs ❤
@@KidaMilo89 for real! like people who think they know music really don’t. Just like the drummer, the bassist also holds the sound together. Take away the drummer or bassist and the sound won’t be right.
I met Mr. Hamilton twice in my life time when I was working full time "somewhere" many years ago.. and it was early on in regards to writing and recording my own music (Since then, I'm now a music composer under performance rights organization, BMI, Inc.) I respected his privacy, and didn't ask for an autograph. One of the nicest and really "down to earth" musicians I have ever met (not to mention a great first name..LOL). One my best memories in music.
@jbassman666 lol!(kinda embarassing i guess) i wanted to play electric guitar bec ause of Guitar Hero, then i got Guitar Hero: Aerosmith and i saw digital Tom and i was like "i wanna play Bass"
Tom Hamilton. One of the most underrated bass players of all time.
No doubt I've looked on top 10 bassists and he was not even in the top 10 total BS
....not among bass players
Exactly
What an opening Bass riff. He starts it and the crowd goes Nutz. What a feeling that must be. Tom Rocks.

Studio it was a bass marimba.
Listen to that kick and snare though. Tom and Joey, criminally underrated
It's all about the HOOK baby.

My favourite Aerosmith Song and that bass line is so cool I could listen to it over and over.
He’s very underrated and his intro to “sweet emotion” never gets the credit it deserves. It’s not just a bass intro. It’s a work of art
I hate the radio edit of Sweet E which cuts out the bass intro entirely.

@@Noname-qj9fn It's why drummers and bassists are there, to amplify the energy. 👍
