Pretty sad that skill gap is nothing when you play high line and press all game. Makes average player way better without doing anything. Thats why this game is broken snd unfun
So true, that’s why div1 and Elite are not anymore a Place where you upgrade your skills to become better, because so much peaple who don’t deserve to be there who only learn op offensive plays what are only a question of having super full meta players to had a chance to defend themselves whatever tactics or skill gap the most part of the time . At this point it feels like playing against the same guy over and over again, no creativity no uniqueness just the same copied 4321 that does everything for you. It makes the game so unenjoyable because for most opponents it's all about the win at all cost.
You sound like a sore loser lad. Skill? There is no major "skill gap" in a video game. It's a MYTH. Especially in FIFA. But many TOP players are META EXPLOIT merchants, and that's the gap. PRESSING is HIGH RISK, and easy to counter. It actually takes skill to NOT concede while pressing high. SWITCHING is a skill gap, and most people are not good at switching. And FUN?? The game is not supposed to be "fun" if you play the COMP modes, like Rivals and Champs. Everyone plays for rewards. Play offline if you want FUN. That's for the casuals.
Same way the game quality in Premiere League won't be the same as SUNDAY LEAGUE, or MLS etc. PRESSING is realistic, because only a noob will give the opponent too much time and freedom to do whatever. Attacking football revolves around PRESSING. Pressing also makes people CHOKE under pressure, just like real life football.
Not going to passive defending when leading is a really good point.

Cant believe we have gone this whole year with these broken press tactics. There is no skill in this game at all. Its just ai vs ai. Every single person i play has press tactics on and high depth the entire game with zero cost. Its truly made the game terrible this year
I cant play with high line because I am not good at defending and always play 4231 with 39 depth. Thats how I play best. Division 3, 11-12 wins. I always thought thats holding me back because all of the pros play high line however Team Gullit just recently released a 4231 tactics video with like 42 depth, so it seems that the formation suits that depth.
4231 is actually really well suited to a high depth because of the two DMs and condensed centre
Bro, 39 you won't go so far with it. Take my advice and switch to 55 then bump it up higher slowly, work on right switching and applying manual pressure
Work on right stick switching with 1 or 2 seconds lag input is torture, playing this game is torture

Half of my commands dont even get registered by the game
Passes get delayed 2-3 secs
This game is a trash
command delay is so annoying, i know ima get the loss when it happens

I have 35-45 ms pings but still my passes are getting 2-3 secs delay
Step overs dont get registered 50% of the times
And it's happening in every single match

The games dog wank, as you get in higher ranks in champs or rivals the opponents don't get any better, you're actual team becomes more disabled players with 95 dribbling and ball control can't control a 2 yard pass. The games shit as fuck, these content creators play a different version of game to us normal folk believe me

Yep dude , I played like 50 entire game in div 1 with 4222 and I see now what was wrong with my old play’s , this formation are good for press and get the bal back in middle of the pitch , after getting the ball back I wasn’t switching in offensive formations to bait the opponent with the movement’s of the switch formations when the opponent are high in my pitch side 60 depth and 3 in the box are better to avoid long balls and had AEsy cunter attack. Definitely my mind was stuck in old fifa when skills and mind plays was more relevant than whatever full meta play’s because manual defending was so much important, now what import the most is ability to score a lots of goals abusing of mindless defending and op offensive (glitches). We all know the Top 3 what you need to not miss if you want so much better chance to win(Corners,cutebacks,step overs speed runs) but olso the fully rat (garbage) baggages (flic ball bicycle in the edge of the box, crossing from your defense to your fb who you sending to overlap and the shoot cancel in front the gk after getting a long ball+ passe from Bruno Fernandes. Without talking about op crossing from bacha into aerials shoots who are indéfendable after being flying)

I’m using your 442 custom tactics and I was just wondering if it mattered what game plan I use and if so which one should I use?
I’m in division 3 now. Was in division 5 a month ago. I’m starting to learn about depth after having learned auto press with R1 and right stick switching.
I use the 4-4-2. I leave the depth on 65 but have messed around with 55.
I think long term it not ideal to play with such low depth. I’ll need to continue to strengthen my defense at div 3. But I have made some progress especially from returning from Fifa 17.

That's literally attacking football. Are you a noob or what? PRESSING is done by every top teams in Football. There is no attacking football without suffocating high press. Pressing also makes people choke under pressure, just like real football. Clearly you noobs choke a lot under pressure. That's why it's effective. But Pressing is HIGH RISK. Backline is open and easy to counter. You just need to be skilled enough to counter, or cry

I know the game is kinda sh!t, but I love it. It's challenging and frustrating, but when you come to understand and manipulate the functions to suit you, and it works, it's fun. Your videos help me a lot too. Keep up the great work brother 👍.

It's a good thing to keep aiming higher. Play against pros or join community cups if that's what you're getting at, it's a different ball game compared to rival rating and fut champ ranks
