I genuinely loved Second Son, it was the first game I played on PS4, and its also one of my favorites on said console. I know some people hate on it, but I just can’t hate on it, I got it recommended to me by a gamestore employee and was skeptical if I would like it, but I soon began to love it, and then went on to play the series. Second Son is honestly my favorite, and I know thats an unpopular opinion.
I don't cause Sucker Punch got to make Ghost of Tsushima. I love Infamous but it's better for the games to catch a Break so they don't become what AC became.
@@herschelschueler I mean there's not many Infamous games compared to AC so the exhausted fatigue isnt there, also a break since like what. 2014? That's way long overdue.

The gameplay for second son was really good didn't much care for the story. The first 2 installments will always be the best imo, also this was the first game I ever platinum
Kinda disagree on second son's gameplay. Side missions suck and tagging buildings gets old fast. Also the different power sets aren't varied nearly enough, they all feel samey
@@somethingwitty3300 second son was a pile of steaming hot crap. It shouldn't have been made and did not fit into the world from 1/2. It retconned what happened at the end of 2 as well.

I often think about how Infamous Second Son probably was my favorite PS4 game. Not in terms of story, characters, graphics or whatever else but just because how fun the gameplay was. Not to say the former things were bad, but it's not exactly what they're known for either. I very rarely get 100% achievements for games but that game was one of them just because how fun it was to play and navigate through the world.
@@sonks336 not really, thanks but answer the question. what was your fondest memory? fine, how bout this month. ok march do you remember anything from march?
@@stuff4826 don't think I understand the relevance of that question or what you're trying to get at, but sure: my fondest gaming memory of march probably was finishing AC Brotherhood for the first time, which is one of the few mainline ones I haven't finished until now.
The gameplay was fun but I couldn't enjoy the game. The story was both poorly-written and nonsensical, with major aspects either left unexplained or given utterly absurd explanations. Perhaps there was more to the plot but after my first playthrough ended with me doing the bare minimum because nothing engaged with me, and the main villain's plan and reasoning was so ridiculously absurd (and also, how did the criminal hide how he really escaped from the guy who he didn't know could experience memories or copy powers?), I felt no urge to play it again. Traded it in for Rayman Legends.
I've never had an issue with gameplay choices closing off content later on. It ensures that a playthrough is a unique experience each time, it bothered me in Skyrim and Oblivion that you could be the leader of every faction by the end and they had such little interaction with each other. Whereas Morrowind had outright requirements to attain ranks in factions and would usually impact other factions opinions of you. I personally think more games should have the confidence to have genuinely impactful choices instead of the standard empty open world adventure games.
If only Second Son properly captured the karma system. The problem with the first two games was, though it's taglined as a choose your own adventure style story, you don't really have many options. You can't beat the game with a mixed moral rank. Therefore, if you chose to be good from the beginning, you must stay good regardless of the choices ahead. You're stuck on that path because if you don't, you can't progress further. Not only is this not fixed in Second Son, but it's made worse from the fact that cutscenes got mixed up and how inappropriate the characters act around Delsin after having made his decisions. Examples of this include the evil cutscene playing for good Delsin when meeting Eugene, and how nonchalant and proud Reggie acts with evil Delsin, despite him turning into a horrible killer. Reactions were often the same, it felt like an afterthought. It makes the karmic system entirely redundant If a fourth game were to be made, they need to revamp those decisions. Have them appear neutral, don't hint at what the choice is in regards to how it'll affect your morale. Hide it from us until the end, which would ideally be unique for every karmic state (including neutral), not just the good and evil. Most importantly, when the protagonist acts inappropriately after becoming evil, or they become more nonchalant after becoming a hero, the rest of the cast should react accordingly. Sadly that probably won't happen though lmao
@@fireaza Well there wasn't a harassment campaign when the Witcher 3 did that so I doubt that would've happened. There are so many stories that you can completely miss because of player decisions in that game.
Choosing between two equal options is just noise. There isn't actually any real choice involved. Choice also isn't something that makes a game better. A player can't write a better story than a writer, even if all of the variants are written by a writer.
The gritty, dirty and grungy atmosphere of the first game was really unique. The second the game introduced the reapers, the trash suicides dudes, the trash/slum New Yrok atmosphere of the sconed island as well as the chaotic messes that some of the all out street encounters were; the game stepped and engraved itself within my memories forever. Did both sides twice before laying the game to rest.
then inFAMOUS devianted from its foundation as a whole... its insane how many ppl praise thr 2nd game when its the most lackluster one compared to the 1st and 3rd game aka Second Son...
I wish Sony would remaster the first two games already. Hell, even just a simple port of them would be nice. That would be absolutely incredible if they did
@@iamarabicandiloveamericanp7137 Why not? i think a 1 & 2 remaster bundle would be great to bring to Next-Gen and the PC market. Infamous 1 & 2 were released relatively early on during the PS3's lifespan. That much is obvious when you compare them to games released much later on. It'd be great to see what they'd look like now with modern hardware. Not to mention it just might revive the series due to being re-released to a new audience.
@@hashirevyt yeah exactly, sony is obviously trying to get more clients in the PC space so I dont see how remastering some great games on the platform would be bad.
Infamous 2 was my personal favorite. It just took everything I loved about the first game and made it so much better. Never really got into the third game unfortunately.
infamous 1 had the best atmosphere and story, but 2 is better in every other way in regards to gameplay(new powers), location variety, graphics and story pacing
Something worth mentioning is how spectacular the soundtrack for these games were. InFamous 2 had Fade Away and Powered Down, tracks I've listened to all the time over the years.
You mean the April 2011 hack? It’s funny cause the sequel came out that June and had a psplus discount (then was given away as psplus free game of the month)
Honestly I really enjoyed Second Son, I kind of just played it for what it was and didn't tie it up so much with the franchises' history all too much. The karma system felt engaging enough to warrant a second playthrough out of curiosity to see what new powers would be available even if it didn't feel necessarily the most narratively compelling aspect. Not enough to ruin the experience though. The character motivation felt simple enough to be believable and motivated
I’m sorry but..... the karma system in Second Son sucked in comparison to the the first one and second So if u liked it in Second Son u will loved it in the others especially in the first one that one is the most difficult (if u don’t put it on easy) but it’s the one with the best and most intense Karma system the second one some choices are more meaningless and carry no weight to it, ( the 1 doesn’t have these mistakes)

My first playthrough of inFAMOUS 2 ended with the good ending as I usually try to play a a good guys in games. My second playthrough then of course had to be evil and I found it to be a lot more satisfying and fun ending even though I liked the good ending. Most people like to play as a good guy and most people complete a game only once so I think that's why the trophy stats leaned toward the good ending. I was honestly a bit disappointed that they chose the good ending as canon but nevertheless I still love Second Son. Maybe now is the time for Sucker Punch to do a what-if scenario that continue the story of Cole the Beast.
@@PersonalAccountIndeed Well I actually want a new protagonist for that. I know that Cole wouldn't play very well like that. I was thinking of a conduit who has just awaken his power and at first follows Cole across the country but then has to decide to support Cole in his destruction (or even kill Cole and become the new leader) or stop him and fight his army of conduits. I know it's pretty cliche but i think it would be very fun to me.
Honestly I wish that what-if scenario be the canon Timeline rather than Second Son. I'm still wondering why they went the good ending route since the lore of Second Son fits way more into the evil ending, and we could've had a Cole final boss instead of a 5 minute DLC of Zeke badly tying the previous games together...
We could make a whole series on Rise and Fall of Sony franchise games. Killzone, Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, the PS Vita, Gran Turismo might join quickly, Wipeout, Syphon Filter, Little Big Planet, MediEvil, and etc.
Killzone....Jesus, what a waste after KZ2's success. I would remove Gran Turismo from that list though after that recent patch that fixed pay outs and offered huge payouts for circuit experience.
While the story quality varies between the first two games and Second Son's, I have found the gameplay in all Infamous series games to be high quality and have a lot of fond memories - especially on Infamous 2, myself. Definitely would not mind seeing a new entry at some point.

The Infamous series is one of my favorite super-hero/villain-fantasy-esque game series to-date. The fact that the infamous-verse has it's own lore disconnected from any other comic book style is nice. There's something about how virtually everything else is either DC or Marvel and is overly familiar that has kinda lead to a sense of IP burnout for me. Especially since after a dozen reiterations, the same characters get reimagined a half-dozen times to the point that you barely recognize them. Since the Infamous characters have so few depictions in media, there's not much to dilute or distort their image.
Man Second Son was such an amazing game. I never actually replay games, but second son made me and I’d do it again. It’s gorgeous, the story is fun and the gameplay is *chef’s kiss*
The guys from Sucker Punch Productions have great videogames and franchises under their belts, but for some reason those didn't reach the popularity of their counterparts ex. Ratchet & Clanck, Jak & Daxter, Uncharted and many more not only on the PlayStation platform. Maybe in the near future they will.
If infamous really continues, it would be interesting for them to develop more the karma system for the game. Would have been interesting to see infamous by other small studios though.
I felt more satisfied (though also sometimes frustrated) with the system of completing challenges to unlock improvements far more than story gating the powers. I'm not opposed to the idea of decisions impacting plot beats, but I prefer the combination of expanding powers and player experience making you more powerful and competent than "I did this mission so now I can lightning tether," though in all fairness I have no idea at what point gameplay experience would justify such a thing lol
I think some of people’s disappointment with Delsin’s character comes from wanting another everyman protagonist like Cole. Delsin has more inherent flaws and personality in general and I think it served the story well. Overall, story aside I still prefer Second Son because the gameplay is fantastic.
I can see what you mean, personally I prefer a protag with minor flaws and what not so i feel more in control as the player. When I'm playing as Delsin, I dislike some of the things he does when making choices and it personally makes me upset. I also come from playing both Infamous games beforehand so I prefer the semi-flat personality Cole had as it matches the comic book vibe the game had. Delsin was lacking that vibe to him and instead of feeling like I'm controlling a hero/villain from a comic book, it felt like I was playing a different series that borrowed the same story and mechanics. (Spoiler Warning) I personally dont really see there to be a real reason for DelsIn to drive the story forward as a villain as much as a hero unlike Cole. For Cole, it felt like for both games he was doing it for an outside reason that would both be a good reason for him to be a hero and yet still personal enough to see him doing it as a villain still. In this game I just cant see why a villain Delsin would want to save the city aside from an off screen family bond. Cole felt more like he could be a true villain due to his lack of a connection as deep as family; as well as his stoic nature allowed you to feel your own narrative in the story like his inner thoughts that he wont show without being wrong or right. Where as Delsin makes it very clear what hes thinking and his motives, so it just feels weird making some of the choices you wouldn't think he would make given his thoughts and inner dialogue during choices. I just think that the karma choices are a bit too forced and dont really feel like choices to me and instead feel like in character and out of character moments. This is just my opinion so feel free to disagree and if you like the dialogue I'm glad for you.
@@FrappeziousCole NEVER was doing good things for the sake of doing good things because of the person he was... canonicaly, Cole does more bad stuff than good stuff, in thr comic that is based on the 1st games events, Cole was going to kill a bystander who called him bald... i could go and on at how inFAMOUS 2 is a very disappointing sequel at not setting a standard that inFAMOUS 1 applied in its execution primarily speaking...

I fell in love with inFamous through Second Son. It was my first game after switching to PlayStation and I ended up getting my first platinum from it. I’m playing through inFamous 1 and 2 at the moment and am loving them just as much. It’s unfortunate to see people hating on the third installment. At the end of the day games are about having fun and I had an incredible time in Second Son despite its story and karma system flaws. I personally liked Delsin, although he could do with some better character development. I CAN NOT WAIT to see what they do for the next inFamous game after coming off of the phenomenal Ghost of Tsushima. I hope they learn from Second Son (and Tsushima) the way they did from the first game and continue the narrative established in it as well.

Infamous was an insanely underrated series! Each game in my opinion really upped the quality compare to the previous. I loved every second of Second Son and still to this day devastated we never got a sequel…
I absolutely loved the third game, moreso than the first and second. The story wasn’t as good to me as the second game, but I liked Del as a character more. He was a lot more relatable to what I think the average person would act like if they suddenly obtained super powers lol. The world was jaw dropping at the time, and the powers were fun as hell.
This Second Son is one of my all time favorite games. It's one of the few games I never get tired of playing, I liked the first two but they really nailed the combat, powers and city with SS I love how you can pass through objects with smoke.
Glad I'm not alone, Cole is good but at then end of the day he is a pretty standard hero(or villian) type; Del, on the other hand does actually feel like a fully defined person.
@@TiaraStarbrighter yeah I was never a huge fan of Cole. He got the job done, but he lacked human nuance. He was a very Alex Mercer type from Prototype 1 for me - just an indifferent, stereotypical badass superhero. Del felt a lot more relatable to me. He came off as an ignorant kid but I mean, that’s kinda what he was, and coming into super powers he acted in a way I think a lot of people would act where they go through that whole “I can do whatever I want” phase before he realizes that having those abilities comes with a lot of responsibility and consequences. I can see why people didn’t like him, especially since people have a tendency to get a little absorbed with brand loyalty when it comes to protagonists and don’t like change, but to me he was a better character than cole and the story itself of second son wasn’t as high stakes as the second obviously but it was a much more human and well written story to me.

I'd take Ghost of Tsushima over Infamous any day. There's something about Infamous that never clicked with me. The main characters just seems generic imo.
In my opinion, they literally just have to make the Infamous franchise awailable on PC. I remember when it first came out, me, and a couple of my friends try to find a managable, working emulator, JUST FOR THIS game, and later on, for the second son... I think it is one of the best superhero/antihero games out there.
True. Even I, a PlayStation user, agree that those better games should stop being exclusive after X years. We had our fun, let everyone enjoy it already
I’m an Xbox guy and always will be. Never played this series but I honestly hope this franchise makes a return. Gaming as a whole is in a very dark time in my opinion. Exclusives are kind of fading, and most of gaming appears to be the same nowadays. Back then there was variety. Everyone was trying to be different but now it seems like everyone is starting to act more like each other in terms of creation. Like the drive to make new games and unique games has died out. Y’all stay safe out there and remember to keep the trash talk up
Right. But instead of Cole simply becoming the beast, he becomes more akin to Kessler (seeing as how Kessler was future Cole). But Cole seeing that he's becoming Kessler decides to go a different route.
Infamous 1&2 were amazing. I love both of them. Cole and Zeke are some of my favorite video game characters of all time. I don’t like second son. I dislike delsin. He’s not as cool as cole. First light was really good though. I like fetch much more than delsin. I wish she was the main character of second son.
What a coincidence! I'm playing through Second Son right now! I really wish we could get more games like inFamous and [PROTOTYPE], games where you play as people with powers but aren't necessarily super heroes. Edit: Okay, okay! You guys convinced me! I'll give Control a shot!
@@kobecross3298 I loved the first. I may not have given P2 enough time. I own it, so maybe I’ll give it a go. The production was shitty, in my opinion, but that’s separate from the gameplay!
Looking how incredible Ghost of Tsushima is, the potential Sucker Punch would unleash on a inFAMOUS game, it makes me wish that game even more... I've been waiting for 10 years for a new inFAMOUS game, and I wish it comes soon. I really do.
They really should've just stuck to their guns when came time to choose which ending would be canon for Infamous 2, the only reason why the Good Karma ending had a higher completion percentage was because gamers generally want to do the "Good Guy" playthrough 1st and a lot of times people don't want to replay the entire game just to see evil/bad outcomes. Also normally the "bad" ending in games tend to lead to death of the main characters, rarely the "good" ending, while it does make sense thematically for Cole to Sacrifice himself in the good ending, I've seen plenty of player advocate that the Evil ending would've led to more interesting stories for sequels to tell.
Big agree. It was stupid to let trophy data decide the direction the series took. Second Son’s story itself is a plot hole taking place after Cole’s death. I’d argue tho that the game actually implies that Cole siding with the Beast would’ve been his first choice

The First Infamous wasn't even a fully resolved story. We have no idea what happened to Sasha and the Reapers and the only news about Alden Tate and the Dust Men was from a graphic novel after the game ended. I wish they had a bit more before moving into Infamous 2's new setting..

Heaps of nostalgia from this. Infamous was my first real experience of player choices effecting how the narrative plays and mechanics. Fallout 3 also sticks in my mind as a decent example of this. I'd love to see a remaster of Infamous appear on PC.
The second infamous game is still one of my favorite games to this day, with the first game not far behind it. So many good memories from this franchise... if Sony made a remaster I would buy a PS5 just to play it.
I played inFamous Second Son It wasn't bad but it felt super lackluster as an inFamous game. It's one of those cases of "Let's leave a number off of it so expectations are lower." I also didn't bother to play a full evil playthrough because the unskippable cutscenes didn't change enough depending on your karma. I'm mostly playing the same game just forced into certain paths, the actual choices don't matter much to me. The one choice I wanted to have freely was locked into being good or evil, really hated how they did karma in SS.
@@MerlautJones I enjoyed a lot of stuff from it still, it just felt like the heart wasn't in it like the previous two. I wouldn't call it a bad game, just not what I'd want from inFamous. Second Son's characters were terrible and the overarching plot was terrible. The "villain hating conduits but is a conduit themselves" plot had already been done in infamous 2, so there was really nothing interesting about the villain either. The powers and particle effects were cool though lol
How this channel doesnt have over 1M subscribers is a mystery to me. I love watching summaries and receptions about video games that I was either too young or too poor to play when they first released! I think Im gonna hunt down all three Infamous to experience myself now~
I really enjoyed the first infamous. The sequels were okay, but I like that even though you were a superhero in the first, you were still quite fragile. Second Son had some pretty good visuals too.
I first remember playing Second Son on my cousins PS4 and the experience of that alone was enough to prompt me to get one, it’s got a controversial rep but that game honestly impresses me overall to this day, and has pretty unique elements imo
Maybe SP can explore their original plan to make Infamous 2's evil ending canon and make a sequel for that, essentially splitting the franchise in two canon timelines. It would make them have a bit more freedom in storytelling. Then they could continue 2nd Son's story separately if they wanted to.
I haven't watched this yet but I'm already wondering if you'll comment on the Playstation hack and the apology + free game from SONY where Infamous was one of the options. This is where I learned about the game, and it became one of my favorite from that generation, I just kept getting more and more hooked into it. The game design and the powers meshed so well together, it felt like there was always action but always enough room to breathe, strategize, and get creative with the enemies/obstacles you were up against. The game constantly feeds you more and more power so by the end of it you really do feel like you've come so far from where you started that the entire city feels smaller and more manageable. Then you get to play the entire game again using the powers that you didn't use the first time around. This game was such an excellent experience, I bet with some charitability for its age, it would still hold up today.
This series is in bad need of a remaster/reboot. I would LOVE to see a sequel come out for it. I think that having a canon that killed off Cole was the biggest mistake the developers made. Although I did like Second Son, I didn't even remember Delson's name until watching this video. He just didn't have the same impact that Cole had. Also, props to this channel for using Infamous 2's badass soundtrack for most of the video.
Infamous 2 was the best but the story decisions they made were a shame. The beast was built up to be this devasting well, beast in the first game, something terrifying and I didn't really feel that in the second game at all and the mystery behind him was kind of disappointing.
Yea it seemed like they just wanted to get that story out of the way and come to a conclusion fast. It would've made more sense for them to make a trilogy and have the beast fight at the end of the 3rd game
Nah, I knew it was John in the first game cause it made sense. I liked the fact you can’t kill him unless you kill every conduit, which makes Second Son’s premise pretty shitty.
@@dragonkamran The people in SS got there powers years after Cole's death and the whole reason for the Ray sphere was to take down the beast Killing all the Conduits was just a side effect not the primary goal.
And risk a harassment campaign from people whining that that they paid for the game, so they should be able have everything?
It makes the karmic system entirely redundant
If a fourth game were to be made, they need to revamp those decisions.
@@fireaza well those people could always start a new game and have a different experience. Essentially enhancing replayability.

Cole being the mammoth beast character would make it difficult to allow exploration and also have opponents who are actually a threat, imo.
@@PersonalAccountIndeed Well I actually want a new protagonist for that. I know that Cole wouldn't play very well like that.
Did you hear of the animated show/my hero academia. It might be of interest.

What small studio ? Cause it ain’t going to one that ain’t owned by Sony
Festival of Blood was such a good expansion. I would have played it as a full length release.
The disappiontment came from not wanting to play as a grunge cosplayer, also the powers were super dumb

Didn't care much for Second Son. Infamous 2 was the ending of the story. It should have been a new universe to play in that didn't reference the original story at all
Also, with the jump to higher quality graphics, there was less to do.
your opinion about a bunch of pixels that hypnotized you is so important. thanks for sharing. your contribution to humanity is invaluable. i know i know, you did your shift and are punched out. that justifies everything. whats it gonna be like for you without the internet or electricity. what are you going to do when corporate decides its done and shut that mcdonalds down. tell me about how gaming helped you beg for food.

can't fix stupid
The first one absolutely blew my mind when I was younger, and at the end of my time in high school Second Son did a great job of continuing on better hardware. It’s not perfect, but the gameplay was just so FUN. And playing as a native labeled a terrorist, while tagging the city and overthrowing a tyrannical institution was just perfect for me. Great video
Amazing production as always. I would love to see a video documentary on a video game called I am Alive.
I Am Alive was great! Been meaning to pick that up again on PC.
@@jigzyonline2 I made a review for I Am Alive if you are interested th-cam.com/video/cpLFlAn4r2c/w-d-xo.html
Man, I remember being absolutely obsessed with second son and was thinking about looking for video essays recently. Perfect 🤩
Unsurprisingly, ever since GVMERS began it’s been a journey filled with nothing but utter admiration and love with you guys, from the writing to narration and of course the deep research behind the veil of these IP’s and developers/producers! Can’t wait to see what comes next, I’m always crossing my finger for a Legacy of Kain / Soul Reaver series being produced from y’all!
I'd love to see remasters of these games, not that second son needs one just yet, but moving the first 2 games onto modern hardware and throwing the 3rd into a single package would be an absolute steal like the uncharted collection was.
This series kicked ass til the end, we need a new one for the PS5
thank you for talking about and bring attention to my favorite franchise of all time! really hope we get a new one soon!!
I’d be so happy if they did a full on remake of the first one.
inFAMOUS rebuilt using the PS5’s tech would be INSANE. They could probably even add UGC back
I agree with Gus Fring here
My favorite game series of all time. Too bad I set my heart on a series who’s developers have no plan of continuing but I will always be attached to the characters regardless. Especially , Fetch and Delsin 👏🏼
Infamous has its fair share of flaws but the core aspects of the gameplay were very well done.
After 5 years later
We will got video from this channel Gvmer about the rise and fall ghost of tsushima
Another fantastic top quality video, honestly these videos are done in such a professional style. You can really tell a lot of work and love is put in this channel. Megustalations.
The "fall" of infamous is an overstatement. It never "fell".
I'd love for SP to make an infamous with a co-op mode like GoT
The First Infamous wasn't even a fully resolved story. We have no idea what happened to Sasha and the Reapers and the only news about Alden Tate and the Dust Men was from a graphic novel after the game ended.
I wish they had a bit more before moving into Infamous 2's new setting..
This and Prototype were amazing IPs
Prototype was amazing in concept and was fun overall, but it was pretty jank lol
@@TheForbidden_1ne if I'm being honest Prototype was way better then Infamous
@@thegamingprozone1941 You'll get no argument out of me. I personally liked infamous more in execution, but liked the idea of Prototype more (if that makes any sense). I just wasn't wild about their storytelling model and didn't care much for the sequel. But the game was a great power fantasy.
Heaps of nostalgia from this. Infamous was my first real experience of player choices effecting how the narrative plays and mechanics. Fallout 3 also sticks in my mind as a decent example of this. I'd love to see a remaster of Infamous appear on PC.
Really love Infamous. I love the comic-style cutscenes that brought back memories of Twisted Metal 2. I hope they bring it back.
The second infamous game is still one of my favorite games to this day, with the first game not far behind it. So many good memories from this franchise... if Sony made a remaster I would buy a PS5 just to play it.
No you wouldn’t

I played inFamous Second Son
It wasn't bad but it felt super lackluster as an inFamous game.
It's one of those cases of "Let's leave a number off of it so expectations are lower."
I also didn't bother to play a full evil playthrough because the unskippable cutscenes didn't change enough depending on your karma.
I'm mostly playing the same game just forced into certain paths, the actual choices don't matter much to me. The one choice I wanted to have freely was locked into being good or evil, really hated how they did karma in SS.
I agree! Imo Second Son was unnecessary.
@@MerlautJones I enjoyed a lot of stuff from it still, it just felt like the heart wasn't in it like the previous two. I wouldn't call it a bad game, just not what I'd want from inFamous.
It mainly existed to give Sony a big notable launch title, which worked... but after the spectacle wore off you start seeing all the cracks.
Second Son's characters were terrible and the overarching plot was terrible. The "villain hating conduits but is a conduit themselves" plot had already been done in infamous 2, so there was really nothing interesting about the villain either. The powers and particle effects were cool though lol
First Light is 10 times better than Second Son. Infamous is best when it is only one set of powers
Incredible video Gvmers team
How this channel doesnt have over 1M subscribers is a mystery to me. I love watching summaries and receptions about video games that I was either too young or too poor to play when they first released! I think Im gonna hunt down all three Infamous to experience myself now~
the 2nd Infamous will always be in my heart, man that game is incredible, played through it upwards of 3 times
I really enjoyed the first infamous. The sequels were okay, but I like that even though you were a superhero in the first, you were still quite fragile. Second Son had some pretty good visuals too.
Infamous Second Son is genuinely one of the best games of the last generation and was easily the best Infamous game out of all of them.
Infamous 2 was my favorite but the first game was great at the time
I first remember playing Second Son on my cousins PS4 and the experience of that alone was enough to prompt me to get one, it’s got a controversial rep but that game honestly impresses me overall to this day, and has pretty unique elements imo
Seeing that short LBP clip made me tear up. Made me want you guys to do a Rise and Fall of Little Big Planet.
Thought Second Son was awesome, glad to have a new protag. Didn't really need a third "is Cole a good guy, or super satan?" plot.
I just want a sequel… it’s a great series.
The beast is gone so I don't see how his death was in vain, alot of people are just too attached to Cole because the second was packed to the brim with plot holes and unresolved issues that people seem to happily ignore.
The videos this channel makes are always high quality, it's so weird the subscriber count isn't in the millions.
I would love a remaster of the games I remember playing the crap out of them all doing all decisions differently each play through
Infamous, killzone, and my personal favorite, resistance, need to come back. I believe all the games of all 3 franchises needs a remaster of the games then a sequel or reboot. Infamous, killzone, and resistance were so unique as ips. I miss them all.
*Cough* Haze!!! *Cough*
Loved resistance, 5he weird alien weapons were fun
A fetch full game would be nice
We are LONG overdue for another InFamous game!
