Thank you for the great feedback! That was a great message to see today because I spend a lot of time trying to make sure I add value in these videos. Thank you for the support and for commenting. What type of tanks are you keeping?
Wow. You get tang gang. My guess is right 😍😍😍. 🙈hope I win 😂😂. I am a fan of tang beauties. This case beauty get more charm now. Now time to add corals😍😍... Goldy
Thank you for watching! We have 5 kiddos and they like to help out during recording time… you’ll see them pop in and out of videos from time to time. Are you keeping any fish tanks at the moment? Have a blessed week. 👊🤙😎🐠🐟
@@SquareUp1 thank you! They keep me sane. 😍 My last tank was an all in one (AIO) 28g nano. Really enjoyed that tank, was simple and easy to care for. If you ever need any help just drop me a comment on any video. 👊🤙
Thanks bro! I’m pretty stoked. Yes…. 💯 on the tank size! It’s huge in person and on screen it looks like half the size! 6’ 228g of joy. 😉 Thx for following the journey. 👊🤙😎 🌊
Appreciate it Ricky! I would have still been in build mode of it was up to me. 😂 I like to get everything perfect. Still have hardware to install and need to figure out a better solution on my RODI containers etc. What’s left on your build?
@@ReefStash protein skimmer, gyre pumps, auto top off, rocks and sand. My wife got me a kessil ap9x for Christmas which is perfect for the softies and and LPs I plan on getting.
Nice; have Mandarins on my list. Back in the day you couldn’t keep them without a very mature tank since it was hard to get them to eat anything but live foods. Now we can buy live pods easily and even get captive bred from places like Biota where the fish eat anything. Happy to be reefing in these days. 😉 Did you name your Mandarin bro? I named one of the ten tangs… the bully is called “Bruno”. lol
😂 😂 😂 that made me laugh! Thankfully I’m not the only one. Was really excited about this shipment! Once the system stabilizes and we get this bioload balanced I’ll be bringing in another order of secondary fish from Biota. Thx for following. 👊🤙💛
Thanks for the message. 10 turned out to be perfect. Had a lot of fighting the first few weeks but they have all settled in and they school together all day long. These are both small and medium. The smallest ones were about 1.5” and the largest were a little over 2”. They grow so fast… none of them are under 2” now and they all are vibrant yellow. You can check my “shorts” feed to see short update clips on them.
@@ReefStash Currently I have 2 p2 gallon corner tanks. 1 filled with Rose bubble tip anemones. The other with corals. I'm going to be tearing them down soon since they have been up for about 15 years. My new tank is a 225 gallon that I just had made by Crystal Dynamic Aquarium.
So I think I’m going to order the 1500 peninsula - any discount codes for one?! 😬 Either way amazing build! I’m going to order the cornerstone rock tomorrow to start planning my partial scape (I’m adding my current LR and adding to it the cornerstone pieces). What was the width and height of the actual crate? I live in Chicago and I’m wondering if I’ll have to take the tank out of the crate to get it in my doorway. Which, being in Chicago it’s pretty cold and snows always hot or miss. Thanks
Hey bro!!! That’s awesome, you’ll love that tank. I don’t have any discount codes for tanks but I do have for the Cornerstone Reef Rock if you go through Coral-Vault.com (code “reefstache”) Did you see you were a runner-up in the Biota giveaway? Announced it in the newsletter that went out today: www.reefstache.com/so/06NwipIWD?languageTag=en I don’t remember the crate size… it was pretty large though. I hope Biota will work with the glofish company to produce a red, blue, purple, green, pink glowing fluorescent Tang fish. I am tired of the yellow color.
Interesting. I can’t speak for what Biota will do but I don’t know any saltwater breeders that are into genetically engineered fish. 🧬 Personally I’m not a fan of GM fish as it serves no purpose in sustainability efforts and is primarily all about the money in my opinion. I’m sure there are points I’m not aware of. 👍 Thank you for dropping a comment and sharing. 🤗

Thats crazy bro, 15k worth of tangs here in Australia 🇦🇺
That’s crazy!!! Are there any captive bred tangs being offered in Australia???
That’s going to be a lot of fish for that size system in a couple years when they are 6-8” long each. Ha
Agree, we’ll probably have to rehome some of them. 😉 For now they have tons of swimming room in this 6’ 230g tank. 👍
Nice! Ten make an amazing school. Are these the small or medium tangs from biota?
