1st Ever Alabama + Illinois Show Choir | Full Concert | By George Walker

Decatur Illinois had a show choir program, Elite Energy, that was recently discontinued after 32 years of existence. I participated from 2012-2017 and the skillset, life lessons, friendships, and more that I have gained from show choir is nothing short of life changing.
I'm honored to partner with Youth with a Positive Direction to put on a showcase to push for having another show choir program for Decatur! I brought 21 singer dancers/musicians from Hamilton, Alabama (Whom has never done show choir) to join 15 alumni members of show choir and 35 middle schoolers to learn and perform a show in the span of 2 and a half days. It came together in the end. So thankful and blessed!
