26 to 28 is ideal... You missed high differential temp on 16 .... Higher the delta t higher wastage of electricity...I think running a on 16 is like buying disease with own money...

The missing point is the temperature differential with the surroundings. Practically 18C will lose cooling quickly to the surroundings compared to 26C. So AC condenser will kick back after each 8 minutes or 6 minutes or less minutes depending on the surroundings temprature i.e. specially walls and roof temperature. The above example is only true if the insulation of the room is extremely efficient which is not possible with brick and mortar walls and concrete roofs. My suggestion is 26 to 28C, the right temp to select. Otherwise you will be busted

And just if the AC succeeds in bringing the temperature to 18 C in the first place 😂

Is the temperature you feel is not relative to the external atmosphere? For Example if the external temperature is 35, and internal is 30, you will get relief although you are above the room temperature? Also will it not take more energy to lower down the temperature from 20 to 18 rather than 28 to 26? (Asking)

You missed one very important thing in calculation. 26 say 28 k bech main temperature maintain karnay k liye agar ac 10 min chalta aur 10 min band rehta hai to 16 say 18 k beech main maintain karnay k liye 15 min chalay ga aur 5 min band rahay ga kun k bahar k temperature say farq ziada honay ki waja say ac ko ziada kaam karna paray ga. So sirf starting main ni poori raat ac ko ziada kaam karna hoga

IF A ROOM HAS TEMPRATURE 32C A NOMAL 1.5 TON AC CAN ACHEIVE EASILY 26C. BUT A NORMAL 1.5 TON AC CAN NOT ACHIVE FROM 32C TO 18C IN A NOMAL ROOM SIZE. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE 18C FOR A NORMAL 1.5 TON AC.THE AC HAS TO RUN ALMOST 2 TO 3 DAYS CONTINUOUSLY TO REACH THAT TEMPERATURE, IF AN ANY CASE IT REACHES 18C DESIRE TEMPERATURE AND AC COMPRESSOR TURN OFF, THE ROOM TEMPRATURE WOULD GO TO 20C VERY QUICKLY BECAUSE OF OUSIDE HOT WEATHERE AND THE COMPRESSOR WILL
BE ON TO ACHIEVE AGAIN 20C DESIRE TEMPRATURE. ON THE OTHER HAND 26C TO 28C WILL TAKE MORE TIME TO REACH, AND AC COMPRESSOR WILL REMAIN OFF MORE TIME, AND WILL RUN LESS TIME TO ACHIVE 26C IN A NON INVERTER AC.

environments of each room has some leakage which is directly proportional to inner and outer temperature difference, so leakage of 26 to environment and leakage of 18 to same environment cannot be same , both ac after one hour cannot run at same speed. so ac with 18 will have more leakage hence will consume more electricity.

i have one 1.5 ton inverter ac. ran on 26 degree for past month and bill is 48 thousand rupees. 747 Units in total. The other room with separate meter has 1 ton inverter ac , ran on 28 degrees for past month and bill is 15 thousand.
I have an inverter 1.5 ac with t3 compressor 26 per ye aik hour Mai half unit se bhi km leta ha. I also use a dc fan to enjoy faster cooling.
During monsoon or humid weather use dehumidification mode to enjoy better cooling always.

بہت اچھی اور محنت سے بنائی گئی ویڈیو ہے مگر ایک بات اہم ہے کہ جو کمرہ اٹھارہ ڈگری پر رکھا گیا ہے باہر اور اندر کا ٹمپریچر کا فرق زیادہ ہونے کی وجہ سے صرف پانچ منٹ میں ہی 2 ڈگری ٹمپریچر بڑھ جائے گا جب کہ جو کمرہ 26 پر رکھا گیا ہے اندر اور باہر کا فرق کم ہونے کی وجہ سے دس منٹ بعد دو ڈگری بڑھے گا

@iqrahasan2959 I just use "cool "mode ."29 degrees ".and fan on "auto". It's a Kenwood model that I bought five years ago and it has not needed any repairs. I just clean the net after ten days.

Due to higher external temperature, the Comoressor will take longer to drop down by two degrees at lower level of 20-18 each time than at 28-26,
.......but my concept is that inverter AC when it achieves 26, would continue on 26 ? It's said that the frequent getting ON & OFF of a compressor actually costs more energy and so more money. Kindly clarify.
