SHAO LIN hook set at 10:32!!! That is all I gotta say. Haha. Just arrived in New Orleans with the family! Hope you folks enjoy the remaining of the Rhode Island videos on the Channel this week! Tight lines and FISH ON!
Dude ur dad completely tore it up out there man and ,that hook set ......legendary . amazing video and I look forward to more like it good luck out there bro!!
The baby black sea bass looked like a Serranus cabrilla (this is the scientific name), a very common saltwater fish in Italy! We often call it "cane" (dog) because he bites on literally every bait!
Awesome video Leo!!!! Your Dad was killin' it, You could see it on his face how much fun he was having Glad You got out together and made some more Great memories :)
Leo, enjoyed the video. Just letting you know for next time you come to RI, minimum size for scup in Fort Adams is 9 inches. One of the few places exempt from the 10 inch minimum. Hope you liked the family trip. Tight lines!
happy father's day with your pops he was doin great and was catching some pretty nice size fish. love the time you take to post things on your channel great fishing Leo.
was driving around with my dad last week and we stumbled apon Fort Adams, didnt realize how nice of a fishing spot this is will defiantly be here in the summer
To see you fishing with your dad was a pretty cool video to watch. I can definitely tell where you get your technique and all your knowledge he must have been a good role model for you. Loving the channel buddy keep the content coming. I also think that it is awesome that you dropped the sponsors so you can get back to good old fun fishing for the fun of it.
Just found out recently a Massachusetts saltwater license is also good in RI and I've been taking advantage. Fished here a couple days ago with just lures and got a few bluefish. I'll have to come back sometime and do some bait fishing. This video is a great display of what can be caught in the area!
Sorry it's not father's day someone in my family is having a father's day today lil late on my part still good seeing you with the pops and hope everything tasted good 👍
Leo! Hope New Orleans is treating you well (if you're staying there). I'm heading to North Myrtle here in a few weeks and I've been thinking about doing some surf fishing and inlet fishing. What rod and reel would you recommend for the fishing im planning on doing? Tight lines!
Superb and awesome video Leo! Fishing with your family is always fun! That's how we all started fishing, the beginning of never ending. The beginning of fun times. The beginning of how we get hooked onto fishing! Haha Wished my fishing videos were as good as yours though :(
Damn Leo, dink master is at it again. Those scup you guys caught look very similar to bream in Australia. U should come to Australia and experience some nice saltwater fishing.
Am I the only one who thought the first time the fog horn went off that it was Leo "bleeping" out some cursing? I'm just messing, great saltwater fishing vid!
I was just interested in what bait u where using in this video I herd u say Gulpbait ,shrimp, but I also saw u using sandworms I was curious as to how the shrimp worked out I'm from Connecticut and fish everyday but never used shrimp was thinking of trying it out let me kno how it worked out
Man, that Avid Pearl has been through alot Leo, how long have you had it, its a pretty expensive Rod for my budget. Im glad that your father was having a blast catching that variety of species.
I could be wrong...but that tiny sea bass you caught? might have not been a bsb. Last summer I caught a ton of those at a local pier, and they show different traits from bsb, like the color, patterns and the blue rays on its face. Maybe that is just how juvenile bsb look like. But I think it was a rock sea bass or some other sort
Does anyone know the setup his dad was using? Since there are 2 items in the rod category and 2 in the reel category, i cant distinct which setup his dad was using. Was it the Penn Pursuit II 4000, 2 pieces, Medium action with the KastKing Kodiak 3000 model?
