I always love when Miria drops a new check-in. You guys make that place look really special. It hurt my heart that someone was heartful to your place a while back.

Mirai is absolutely awesome. You need to do what I do regularly, stand back and “ see “ all you have created. My little garden can not compare in anyway to Mirai, but I’m very proud of what I created. Keep pushing forward Ryan. All will be better soon.

Empathy for you all with the hot days. Here in my Australian summer the temp regularly hits 45c or above with 50c for a few days. Even at night we have 38c+ quite often. Watering for me is very important and a misting system allows all to survive.. The misting is great as it drops the temp significantly keeping pots and roots cooler but not watering the trees to any great amount. Uses very little (my system which is not that large around 5ltr per hour) It works that well I also installed it in my wife's Orchid/Brom shadehouse. One last point - bush fires. I note the proximity to the forest. If it should burn having a misting/sprinkler system in place may help. Down side is that all water lines would need to be drained for your winter so they do not freeze and burst. Global warming is with us now the warmer days are here to stay...

Hope all your bonsaï are safe. Here in France, we are waiting for heat : too cold and too wet for the season. It is worse for our Belgium and German neighbours (dramatic floods). "Strange" June and July months everywhere on our planet : difficults for humans, animals and nature. 😔

A suggestion for the roots would be gel cold packs kept in chest freezers, then placed under the pots during the peak hot periods.
Or a more environmentally friendly option of water soaked towels separated by wax paper kept in freezers instead of gel packs.

Love these videos… lol too funny 106 that’s pretty cool since here in ontario California it was 110-112 and it’s still around 107 and my trees have been under full sun moss and all and just watered them in morning and evening is all I did

Sir Ryan since you have Wells could you install Geothermal and put plastic tubing around each Tree to keep Roots cool Down? How do I get a price for you to do some Grafting on my Pine Tree ?
