I am from Minnesota born in St. Cloud and raised in Shoreview till 1965. I remember my Dad taking the family to some place to visit relatives and on the farm there were all kinds of old steam powered tractors. I wish I could remember more. John Adrian, father Jack Adrian, Henry and Rose Adrian Grandparents.
If you get the chance you should check out the WMSTR. It is an experience you will never forget, brings back a lot of memories for anyone who spent time on a farm.
@@christibrose5413 yea it is becoming an almost daily occurrence, reading that some event community celebrations, etc. have been cnancelled not only in mn but other states too
That is a beautiful piece of history. I'm in college right now studying neuroscience, but history will always remain one of my favorite subjects. What do you do for a living?
Thanks. I feel privileged that someone has saved a part of my family history. I work in Microbiology at a Hospital, and have a side job at Hobby Lobby. That's my fun place. Some of this video was shot by my husband who is a professional photographer. It was just my editing though, not him, he is much better at editing and creating video than I am. I am happy to claim the train part at the front, I love that shot.
Thanks for the encouragement. We watch several vloggers and it's fun and gets to be almost like watching a tv show, only better. I have enjoyed putting videos on and when one gets a lot of views its fun to think of other people enjoying something you created. I have one that has over 10k views, cruise ship food, even I enjoy watching it over and over.
Equipment like this is why folks had more common sense back in the day. It sorted the fools out. Absolutely love old tractors!
Yep, they are amazing! Have you been to Rollag, if not, try to get there someday. It's really cool!
Never been to Rollag. Have been to pioneer days in Madison SD numerous times. Even got to run the steam carousel one year. Will never forget that!
Yeah, things like that are unforgettable. I got to drive (for a short distance) the steam engine that my great grandpa used in 1916. Unforgettable
I was there on Friday and Saturday! Wonderful show. Recommend it!
It is a great time!!
Random question John, do you have a brother named Jeff? I have a college friend by that name, lost contact with him several years ago.
