Hey Pat, Roots music at it's finest. The notation and the tabs are a nice addition to the lesson's. Only the best in CBG tutorial's. Every good boy does fine & f,a c, e if treble clef. Thankyou. Be good, C.
Thank you so much for that! Love it and I'm working on l it it. Your methods are the best! If you can tell me please - what is that item on this particular cbg that you use for your bridge. I've never seen anything like it! Thanks again!
Hey man, great lesson! I'm glad to have learned this song. Thank you! I was wondering if you could do a lesson on how to play Blind Willie Johnson's dark was the night? I hope that's not asking too much :-)
Hi there Eric, thanks for the comment, Blind Willie Johnson stands out to me as the master of pre war slide guitar so it's great that people are learning his songs. Dark was the night is like Everest for me though, it's such an important song that I don't think I can go there until I can do it justice and that may still take a few more lifetimes. If it ever happens though, I'll let you know.
If it took me a year to get down Mystery Train (Travis style bass) on guitar, how long would getting that constant bass pulse going with the melody take for this style? 2
Thankyou John, it's great to hear that you're learning this awesome old song. That's an old key on the bridge.
FANTASTIC song to pick and thanks for sharing !!!!!!!!
Nicely done...I just got a CBG and have been messing around....these tunes are where it all started!

truly beautiful. Did you make that yourself? Do you sell them? If not you should. And copywrite it if you haven't already.
Great tutorials!
Thanks David, glad your liking them. Especially this one, this song is one of my favourites for sure.

What strings do you have on it?
Antonio Aguirre I couldn't tell you the gauges but they're an A, D and G from a standard set. I've tuned the A down to G.
what was the tuning on this?
0:23.....
