Water Bill. Call to contest it, have them come and check the meter and irrigation pipes. Did you wrap the pipes and turn off the irrigation for the winter? If not, leak could be there. Ask them to investigate and meanwhile offer to pay what your normal bill is.

Our water bill was over $400 and its monthly. Last time this happened, we had the plumber come out and replace the toilet parts so that the water wouldn’t run. This time our washer was running (hose needed replaced). So check your appliances and drips in the shower/tub, sinks, toilets. It’s CRAZY expensive.

When you have a water leak in your house, what you probably do? If your water bill is that high, you need to find that leak. Some water companies want you to take a picture of where the lick is and then they will give you a courtesy fee waiver but the next time your water bill is that high? They're not going to do it again. It's a one-time thing only
