The writer wants to deliver to the audience that love can conquer differences and can change a person into a better version. Or if you don’t like it because of not the character but because of Lee Seung Gi as an actor. Well, it’s your own opinion but tbh Seunggi is one of the most successful and talented korean actors out there. He is well-respected even to his fellow actors. Mind you, he is a multi-awarded actor.

They wanted someone new as an actor to portray the lead role. Producers always want to experiment and give others athe chance to play the lead roles. Bae Soo Bin accepted it knowing that he got the supporting role in the 1st place. Otherwise, he could’ve not accepted the role if he thought that he should be the ML, right? So why should fans complain? If you really love the actor that you’re supporting, you should as well appreciate the drama that he is in whether he is the lead role or not, whether he is the protagonist or the antagonist. Complaining the drama because your bias wasn’t the lead actor is just plain rude.
