Millions of times I have played this music to myself, alone, in the car, while fishing or walking in the mountains. Whenever I hear it - I am always looking for the most beautiful, most emotional moment and I always find it. And when I think that THIS IS IT - after a short while there comes another moment - which is even more beautiful. Vangelis has never, ever, dissapointed me. RIP.
I agree with you with the first part. But for me the moment after, is when I realize that there will be no more music like this. An angel died and what he left was this (and other) beautiful music.
Coming back here to this wonderful piece of music. RIP Maestro. This song is honestly one of the few melodies that truly makes me feel like it's worth experiencing Planet Earth. It reminds me of how lucky we are to have such a gorgeous nature made of plants, animals, landscapes, water, earth, fire and air all around us. It's truly heart-warming.

But surely, he was the only one being able to put so much emotion - sadeness, melancholy, sweetness, mystery or/and greatness - in his compositions.
