I doubt anyone will see this but during my final year of high school we lost a kid in my grade to cancer, it was a small class so it was heavily felt. The day after she died you didn't have to come in, I did and my friend and i just sat there listening to music and not talking. I told myself I wouldn't cry, that I'd be strong through it but I put this on and offered him an earbud and I bawled. I cried that she never got to graduate, never got to turn 19, I cried for so many things. Thank you Kayla 💛
@@thewatcherlollol I wish I'd been a better friend to her but I know she's happy wherever she's kicking it. To watch a friend go from lively to bedridden sucks. There's no other word for it. I hope her and I get to kick it when everything is said and done.
It’s baffling how lightly people seem to take this song. This is the heaviest, most bittersweet track I’ve ever heard, even beyond BH. It never fails to at least choke me up, because it simply yet beautifully depicts such a depressing subject we all experience as we live through life: loss. It depicts the minds of so many Brockhampton members as they remember those loved ones they’ve lost, and then it ends with Kevin, who seems to not have experienced such loss during the time of this track’s creation, and as he looks at all his heartbroken friends, he sets his mind on his husband and hopes to God he won’t leave him too. Next to SWEET, this is my favorite track from them, and it’s one of their best. There’s no argument, no doubt. BH forever
yep. 3 years later, 3 years older and it lives up to be a modern day classic in the digital era. Cause I definitely heard of this song by word of mouth. Don't even think I'm alone. But this was my first BH intro. Hooked ever since. They're just 100% human.
this song will forever be the song I remember the good times of Brockhampton. Brockhampton may be over now, but this song is pure nostalgia and is a core memory i’ll always have with the group.
""forever was just a phase" "i hope you're okay" it sucks to see someone move on. even when you have. it hurts because you start to feel like you never made them happy. i wish i could go back and become friends with you again. you were an awesome person, and you would have been a great friend if we didn't get attached. i wish i never said "i love you". anyways, i hope you're doing well. you never liked brockhampton like i did, so i'd be surprised if you saw this. im sorry i couldn't make you happy.
sorry about what happened to you, life moves on, there will be that special someone. just know what you're going through right now is what so many others have been through and still recovered.
Thank you Brockhampton for amazing Saturation era. 2018-2019 was the year that I never know I'm gonna miss it so badly. Senior year, slow-paced high school's days, the first time yet so memorable love life, and dreaming as youth thay think we never get older. Then jobs, adulthood came crashing down and make it frustating. Then I come back to this song and I feel relief. I realize I will never get the Saturation era days again, but I will cherish it by living forward at the best I could do. So once again, thank you Saturation Era. I'm gonna miss you.

It’s crazy that this version changes the whole vibe of the song. The single version that Brockhampton posted sounds so happy but this one just tears you down. Especially Joba’s verse
was going to comment on the music video, but the real ones will be here. BH meant everything to me these past few years, I owe a lot of artistic and personal growth to them. I’m saddened it’s over, there will be never be another phenomenon like the saturation trilogy - or like this boyband. It’s hard to let go, but I can’t wait to see what they do next. texas sky, til I die.
this song seriously reminds me of one of my best friends who committed suicide two years ago, they loved brockhampton with all their heart and were the most open minded person about music i've ever met. i miss you caden, not a week goes by where i don't think about you, i hope you're resting in peace.
3 of my friends and I were smoking one night and driving around. For 9 minutes straight, none of us said one word.. for 9 minutes straight just staring ahead listening to this song. Such a simple memory but one I’ll never forget.
Discovered BROCKHAMPTON during my last relationship. I showed her them as soon as I found them and this song along with the Saturation Trilogy was pretty much our soundtrack on road-trips. I found her texting her ex several times and eventually had to end the relationship but I can’t forget the drives to this song on repeat. Bittersweet memories I’ll probably always have. As dark as this song is, it takes me back to those good days a few years ago.
I Cannot Fucking Wait Till Morrissey Dies your name makes me Appreciate your taste in music, how you feeling about ALL MY HEROES ARE CORNBALLS? I fucking love it
its probably how much longer it is. its not edited as tightly as the single version and so the uncomfortable parts kinda float and linger longer than they should.
@@IElrekkaI To be honest in my opinion, they edited out all of the sad parts of the extended version in order to make it a happy song. I mean, just listen to Joba's verse, he's clearly still shocked at the change his life has had by moving to LA, with Ameer's verse he's scared of being in LA, and Dom is explaining his sadness. It is overall just a far more depressing song, and I don't think it really has much to do with how they edited it. They're super vulnerable on this version. If this was put onto any of the Saturation's, IMO it would have been the most depressing song they put out.
i actually prefer the single version bc the verses that they put in it fit way better with kevins hook about looking back on everything they've done and being proud of it. i rly hope they put this as the closing track on their last album
The contrast of the upbeat nature of this song to what the lyrics are saying is powerful. Sometimes you have to make the hard decisions, whether that's letting go or moving on. Meaningful people are not easy to come by, and when a person that was meaningful to you is no longer present in your life for whatever reason, it's difficult. Be happy that the positive times happened and know that there are more positive times in store in the future. :)
I remember listening to this song constantly after my aunty took her own life. " I'll miss you for all my life. I'll love you for all my life." I miss you so much, Aunty Missy. You're forever alive in my heart...
I always come back here, it's like they made this song to make me feel better, it's like they're saying "I've been through this shit too and it's okay. You'll be okay" I always feel embraced. Thank you, BH.
once again i am back. the end of an era. their music feels nostalgic to me now. helped me through some times & i met one of my best friends through it. songs like this give me hope & i find myself reflecting on sunrises i saw after i spent the night watching technical difficulties streams, long boarding to these songs near my grandma’s house before she sold it, streaming them at 7:00 am on cold winter mornings at the bus stop, etc. bittersweet moment for sure but music is forever & i’ll definitely come back to relive those memories through streaming the discography of some group of men who formed through a forum & made it big from just a small place in corpus christi.
I remember hearing this when I was 16 and feeling very emotional thinking about my life and how I wanted more out of life. Now I'm almost 19 and brockhampton kinda broke up and the song brings the tears in the same way. Maybe it's time to grow up
i'm leaving texas at the end of august, i'll be going off to college in a whole new state. i've been listening to this version of LAMB over and over. it's just hitting me that i'll be leaving my home state and city after living here for my "all my life" :( it seems like my family is falling apart and i have a little sister, she's still so young to go through this stuff. joba's lyric "i didn't mean to leave you lonely/i just had to do what's best for me, selfishly/i'll admit that." i'm leaving her alone to deal with the turmoil. i have a chance to leave this behind, even for four years. i'm leaving because i wanted to, i've always wanted to leave texas. it just hurts that this reality is coming so fast. i didn't think it would hurt this much. "texas sky" i will miss you once i leave. i will miss everything but it's my time to leave you, even if it does seem selfish right now. it's so fucking hard but i'm not alone and brockhampton showed me that i can still have love for texas even if i am choosing to leave.

I found her texting her ex several times and eventually had to end the relationship but I can’t forget the drives to this song on repeat. Bittersweet memories I’ll probably always have. As dark as this song is, it takes me back to those good days a few years ago.
this shouldve been the ending of TEAM
that would've fit perfectly, instead of the shitty donald trump/america diss
@@uwujojo4527 Dawg they didn't even mention Trump once on the track what are you talking about
@@TheIntenseLime Like deadass what is he on

Travis La Flamé can you not love it? 😅
This is so sad now.
It really does
It was always sad.
This song is so bittersweet. Makes me miss someone, but also makes me appreciate what I still got
this makes me realize how much I will miss these boys. They changed my life. I am grateful to them.
It's weird how much upsetting this version is compaired to the video version
its probably how much longer it is. its not edited as tightly as the single version and so the uncomfortable parts kinda float and linger longer than they should.
Bc of joba
i like this version better
i needed this. thank you so much
this was really great, its been two years since you said this but i hope you are still out there helping people to this day.
Found out my mascara is not waterproof when listening to this for thw first time....Joba really got my heart hurting
cried for an hour straight to this at 4 am
I remember listening to this song constantly after my aunty took her own life. " I'll miss you for all my life. I'll love you for all my life."
I miss you so much, Aunty Missy. You're forever alive in my heart...
Sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss bro 🙏
Why does Dom always have incredible verses
I always come back here, it's like they made this song to make me feel better, it's like they're saying "I've been through this shit too and it's okay. You'll be okay" I always feel embraced. Thank you, BH.
Shattered this isn’t on Spotify and shit

“Texas sky, when I die” OK BROCKHAMPTON WINS ONCE AGAIN
that’s exactly where i started crying
It hit me so hard that the last BH show ended with LAMB slideshow
"Somebody out there loves me. Someday I'll find out who it is."
Jobas part made me cry. 😥 I didn’t realize how powerful his verse really was
"imagine me and you share the last laugh" broke me bro... life is too short
One of the songs that really got me into brockhampton, and this version is even fucking better. Dying
This one hitting real different today. Will always be a special song and they will be a special band
joba's verse hits way too hard, this is definitely one of my favorite songs in their entire discography
This song carries a moment I will remember for the rest of my life
once again i am back. the end of an era. their music feels nostalgic to me now. helped me through some times & i met one of my best friends through it. songs like this give me hope & i find myself reflecting on sunrises i saw after i spent the night watching technical difficulties streams, long boarding to these songs near my grandma’s house before she sold it, streaming them at 7:00 am on cold winter mornings at the bus stop, etc. bittersweet moment for sure but music is forever & i’ll definitely come back to relive those memories through streaming the discography of some group of men who formed through a forum & made it big from just a small place in corpus christi.
I remember hearing this when I was 16 and feeling very emotional thinking about my life and how I wanted more out of life. Now I'm almost 19 and brockhampton kinda broke up and the song brings the tears in the same way. Maybe it's time to grow up
this is genuinely the most emotional i've ever gotten to a song
ameer has one of my favorite verses in this song
his voice is so clean on here too the entire song is butter but his is somehow smoother
im honestly heartbroken
same
dude
devastating
Oh no
Even though we're never getting this on streaming, this is still one of my fav bh songs.
Thank you guys for following me through my highschool years.

was only familiar with the version on their channel, wasn’t ready to hear these lyrics and now i’m weeping. joba really pulled my heart strings
Thank you for everything Brockhampton
Ameers verse on this is beautiful
Love u guys forever
I admire how they added everyone's verse in one at 5:35. I feel like it represent unison and brotherhood in Brockhampton.
When joba said “It doesn’t rain in LA”🥺
Jobas verse wrecks me every time and I've never been able to relate to it more at this point in my life.
3:40 💔 i’m so sorry
discovered brockhampton in 2017, naturally makes you think of times being different
When I remember them a few years later, I'll come here to listen to this song
If you’re reading this and feeling like shit, or sad it gets better eventually bro trust (:

I literally am sobbing lmao thanks for helping me simp about an ex cheating on me
i want a 10 minute music video to this
i'm leaving texas at the end of august, i'll be going off to college in a whole new state. i've been listening to this version of LAMB over and over. it's just hitting me that i'll be leaving my home state and city after living here for my "all my life" :( it seems like my family is falling apart and i have a little sister, she's still so young to go through this stuff. joba's lyric "i didn't mean to leave you lonely/i just had to do what's best for me, selfishly/i'll admit that." i'm leaving her alone to deal with the turmoil. i have a chance to leave this behind, even for four years. i'm leaving because i wanted to, i've always wanted to leave texas. it just hurts that this reality is coming so fast. i didn't think it would hurt this much. "texas sky" i will miss you once i leave. i will miss everything but it's my time to leave you, even if it does seem selfish right now. it's so fucking hard but i'm not alone and brockhampton showed me that i can still have love for texas even if i am choosing to leave.
Joba's verse almost made me cry, it's too damn powerful.
It would’ve been crazy if TEAM transitioned to this full thing instead of the rapping, and then transitioned into heat
This one just needs to be their last song on Coachella, it would be a perfect goodbye.
Called it

best song by bh, change my mind
Don't have to
Joba sounds like he's from some sort of shoegaze band.
him and bearface have a promising career if this whole best boyband thing falls through
JD pitmint Can't wait for at least a solo album like what Kevin did.
JD pitmint Matt also has a really good shot
matt's solo work is insane
I think that’s what I love the most about him and bearface
Listen to this everyday
This might be the best songs I’ve ever heard.
Im back yet again, god damnit i love this song so much.
something about this just makes me wanna cry and listen on repeat...
JOBA’s verse gives me a taking back Sunday vibe
still not over this, been listening it for like over 10 months now
This is hitting really hard right now.
jobas part always hits me so fucking hard i think i have whiplash
joba verse is my favorite
This piece breaks my heart omg
absolutely one of the most bittersweet tracks ever made
Joba always has the most hard hitting verses especially on this and RR
I really wish Matt's verse was on the Demo
HAAnoteven same wtf his verse was my favorite on the MV version
Ehhh. It’s a great verse but these are clearly two different songs. I’d say he belongs better on that song than this one.
There's a version on Soundcloud that includes his verse on this version.
