Now here comes the Emily and Sonny "affair" which I absolutely hate it made no sense. I found this relationship unbelievable, that a woman who has been violently raped finds herself drawn and wanting to be "intimate" with Sonny, the "mob boss of Port Charles" yet she is terrified of her husband Nikolas because he looks exactly like her rapist. Emily being drawn and falling in love with Sonny was just "stupid" it made no sense, to be drawn to "danger" when she already feels terrified and dealing with a rape. This is a bad relationship for her to have after dealing with a violent rape. I love the Emily and Nikolas love story, as I'm just been watching it for the first time (RIP Tyler you were such an intense profound actor what a true talent gone too soon) the last two months or so, and the love affair between Sonny and Emily made no sense on a psychological level. The writers really screwed up with this one, for Emily to know she will be more in danger with Sonny. Also Nikolas with Courtney never made sense, how many relationships has she had so far? Quite a few. Nikolas is frustrated I understand but sorry it made no sense..
@Rhiannon011 exactly. It was completely nonsensical. Especially because of how Sonny treated Jason when he dated Courtney before he finally got over it. Worst is that Sonny always looked at Emily like a niece and Micheal and Morgan saw her as their Aunt. There’s an old episode where Sonny and Carly have a “birds and the bees” talk with Emily and Juan so the whole thing was just ridiculous
What’s disgusting is that sonny and Emily were in scenes when she was a legit child and they made them have a love affair- the most awful calamity of gh was sonny and Emily together
I did not see what all the hullabaloo was about....Emily was a grown woman.....yes something terrible happened to her but I did not see the big deal with her confiding in Sonny.....yes he was a mob boss but that was his business.....in his personal life Sonny was loyal to those he loved......I understood why he and Emily became close.....I love d that they got together and I was sorry that it did not last longer.
Courtney didn't ruin anything. Emily was looking for any excuse to bail on her marriage. Due to the fact that she was volunteering for all of those damn hours at the hospital. Avoiding her marriage at all cost
@Lori Koenig Because she was raped by the guy Connor Bishop who looked like Nikolas (put aside Tyler Christopher playing both parts) and bcuz of the trauma of the rape she was imagining Nikolas as Connor so that is why she pushed him away. BUT I am not going to argue anymore have a nice day

These people amaze me....they just dont know how to mind their own business.....no amount of intervention could fix the problems these people had.
Courtney has always disappointed me....she blew into town on her high horse, judgemental, naive and full of herself.

In my opinion, Courtney ruined everything.
Yes she did.....she was whiny and very sickening.

@AB-N-KingK86 Yes she did, Emily had been raped and was trying to deal with that. That's why Emily was working and volunteering.
