Very inconsistent for me, sometimes the paint is spot on sometimes its absolutely trash, and they break so easily, I pulled out the wrist blade on 1 of my pred figures and snapped instantly, same happens to other weapons and even fingers, the plastic they use is very brittle

I only buy new Predator figures based on a design I like. Bought 30th Anniversary Ult. Guardian Predator 2 weeks ago, and I like it. Only problem is the pin on the left hip balljoint is stuck and couldn't move it. But it's not that big of a deal, but still bothersome.
Speaking as a HUGE Predator fan, and an amateur figure collector with only 3 Predators (as of now) joining my collection of about 30 figures in total (of robocop, aliens, terminator, mortal kombat, silent hill, and Doom), I wanna say why I really like this figure. I originally only had the Jungle Hunter Predator, because come on, if you're a Predator fan, you have to have the figure that represents him as he was in the original movie. I bought him with no intention of buying more Neca Predators. Eventually I came across the Armored Lost predator in a shopping mall and I thought it was a worthy purchase since it was right there infront of me, and it had a lot of things that differentiated it from my Jungle Hunter. Obviously the flesh tone, the armor, the glowing eyes. But most importantly the smart disc and the combi stick. I originally displayed him with the exposed face, because he looked awesome with the open mouth look of one of the alternate heads. But as I showed the figure to some friends, they mentioned that the mask was awesome and the light up eyes were too cool not to have as a display option. And I agreed. So I went back to the mall and bought this Scout Predator, because it was the other figure there at the store (It was just the two, Armored Lost and Ultimate Scout). I went back with the intention of buying him solely for the purpose of displaying him as the exposed face Predator, so that I could put the helmet on the Armored Lost Predator. But honestly, I'm really glad that I did. Because I love this figure. Like the reviewer said, the face sculpt makes him unique. I love the way he looks because he has some emotion to his face, something I don't really see in the other two Predators' face pieces. I also love the accessories, even though I will NEVER display him with the rifle because it feels wrong to show a Predator with a gun. I really love the skin tone and feel like it looks more authentic to the original's. It has a beautiful glossiness to it. Definitely recommended.

The Scout Predator figure is easily one of my favorite NECA Predator figures if not my favorite. Both head sculpts look great. The overall sculpt, paint application and details are top notch. I like the silver nature of the armor, the silver blaster rifle and the spear. I also like the fact that the armor, the blaster rifle and the spear have some nice weathering that's been added to them. The figure comes with a pretty good amount of accessories. There is a decent amount of articulation as well. The Scout Predator utilizes certain aspects from prior Predator figures, but at the same time, there is enough to differentiate it from them. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot. I really appreciate the continued hard work. Keep it up!
Scout was my first predator figure due to the fact that he looked like the classic jungle hunter, but came with a smart disc and plasma caster. At the time I saw him as better than just having the plasma caster. So I begged for him for Christmas and any alien figure I could get to make them duel. I even gave Scout a spear from a star wars figure to give him a full arsenal like in the AVP 2010 game. I still have him sitting amongst alot of my other predator figures, he's still my favorite, I also got the battle damaged and unmasked jungle hunter 2 pack for Christmas so it was a huge win for me that year. When I saw they redid scout and gave him so much more AND a unique head sculpt, I knew I had to do my boy justice and pick him up. For a character who's only on screen for like 3 minutes, he's still my go to Predator.

I had a really weird situation when I purchased the scout predator. I ordered one online which shipped from the UK, and the other I bought at a local target cause I was impatient and thought I could return the online purchase. Unbeknownst to me, the UK version I received had a very unique paint application on the skin ( the paint apps on the head was very similar to the one you displayed but more fleshy), spots of brown and yellow overlay the flesh skin. The scout predator from target had a immaculate finish ( almost no "fleshy" look but a Dijon mustard and mocha brown finish with the patterns on his head.) I had to sit there for a few minutes comparing them but ultimately decided to keep them both because of the subtle difference with both figures. Scout is certainly a unique yautja, I called the double I got from UK Tiger Head 😁😁

Just picked him up today. Can't get enough of these. But the hinge for his wrist computer falls off without doing anything. Or the compact rifle, that won't stay on for anything either. otherwise killer figure. Another addition to my growing army of predators.
Line up the smartdisc in the holster and slide your fingernail in between,move it around and it will fit perfectly Works everytime without any problem. Nice review btw Just got scout and he is badass Only need Boar to finish my lost tribe.
My bipod snapped off and I don’t know how to fix it do you have any idea how I could fix it? I tried to search it up but I couldn’t find anything so I was hoping if someone else could help me here
@@hyperfire1134 it didn’t work They didn’t stick and the glue just wasn’t working I guess the bipods are just too small which also makes no sense but idk I’m still very sad 😞
His plasma castor fits better if you turn it's base sideways before you lift it out. The way you did it will comprise the plastic channel it's supposed to stay in. Just an FYI, great review as usual Spot!

Dude this just might be my fav besides the Alpha Predator. I love the job Scout has with basically protecting the clan & hunters from any interruptions during their hunt. He looks so badass holding the plasma rifle. Just got scout today🤘
I just received my Scout today and much to my disappointment the left elbow was completely fused together. I just spent the last 5 hours reconstructing a functioning elbow. I was so sure it wasn't going to work out and it was headed for the trash, but against the odds and thanks to the gods of plastic action figures it worked out. I just have to be careful with it. It's only going to spend its time on display anyway. Great quality control there Neca.

This is not meant as an insult but during your review I could tell you weren't aware Scout was one of the many members of The Lost Tribe who appeared at the end of Predator 2. Alot of those members share similar armor and weapons. Also to answer the question "Why be excited about Scout?" During the original Lost Tribe release by Neca, before Ultimate, Scout was one of the harder/more expensive Predators from that Tribe. So he may not look like much besides new head and rifle he's an updated version of a very sought after Predator also if your interested in completing your Lost Tribe you will need him.
My apologies for the ignorance I had in this video, I was a big collector of Predator figures but wasn't as much into the rich background and stories to these characters as I am now, I was looking at the figure for what it was and not appreciating really the significance of his release, something I hope I've done a better job with in the more newer Predator reviews. Got mine a year after this review and it does indeed have a spear holder. Love the figure but really perplexed why Neca can’t design a better fitting disk holder or a better gun mount on the back that would prevent slippage. These would be extremely easy fixes simply by tweaking the geometric design of the pieces in question.
Great video! The wristblades are kinda tapering towards each other on mine instead of being parallel. I tried to heat them up with warm water and pull them apart, but it didn't work out. What would you suggest to fix them? They feel somewhat brittle, and I don't want to end up snapping them off.
Found mine today in target there was also a ahab predator to i don't know if its a remake but it has nothing i mean nothing on the Scout Predator face sculp on this bad boy realistic looking best figure I've hunted in my toy hunt almost over looked it Neca keep it coming im still waiting on my tokka and Razor from the movie turtles i see people on TH-cam getting there wish i could have mine.

Ah yes, the standard problem for many predator figures; the smart disc does not fit into the holster on the right leg. We've been dealing with this problem for almost 10 years now, wonder if they'll ever figure out a way to get that thing to sit tight. But aside from that, everything else about this figure is great. Awesome review, and I eagerly await the remaining members.,

Scout most definitely IMOH. I passed on fugitive like 6 times now. SCOUT 1st look I was hooked. The only other out of the nine I want is elder. Got city Hunter & Scout. Passed on stalker 5 times. Big pass on Lasorshot Predator as well. Skipped him like 5 times. Wasn’t digging the batteries as I normally buy 2 of each. 1 I open for display & 1 for the sons to fight over down the line 😂 Just don’t want batteries in lasershot oozing out after sitting NIB on the shelf’s for 13 years waiting my sons.
Can I send you my custome avp masked scar. It has less armor on the wait and legs but still on the feet and uper body. I wanted to make more jungle type and less armor.
Yes... He's already been through the prototype process and is rumoured to come out 2021, along with an updated PredAlien. There's a nice picture out there you should be able to find with a quick search.

@@ro-landocalrissian4633 I have both, it's the same predator "Scout" but the figures are different. This new one comes with extra stuff plus an extra unmasked head. The new one is much better than the original.
If his visuals were more unique then I would have bought him. Sadly the Lost Tribe is so monochrome and boring with everyone having the same armor and visuals with just minor changes.

Line up the smartdisc in the holster and slide your fingernail in between,move it around and it will fit perfectly

My bipod snapped off and I don’t know how to fix it do you have any idea how I could fix it? I tried to search it up but I couldn’t find anything so I was hoping if someone else could help me here

@@hyperfire1134 it didn’t work They didn’t stick and the glue just wasn’t working I guess the bipods are just too small which also makes no sense but idk I’m still very sad 😞

It takes some force but you should be able to get the smart disc to fit a lot more snug inside the holster
This has to be one of the best channels on reviewing figures. Trust me, the is few and far between.
His plasma castor fits better if you turn it's base sideways before you lift it out. The way you did it will comprise the plastic channel it's supposed to stay in. Just an FYI, great review as usual Spot!

Dude this just might be my fav besides the Alpha Predator. I love the job Scout has with basically protecting the clan & hunters from any interruptions during their hunt. He looks so badass holding the plasma rifle. Just got scout today🤘

I just received my Scout today and much to my disappointment the left elbow was completely fused together. I just spent the last 5 hours reconstructing a functioning elbow. I was so sure it wasn't going to work out and it was headed for the trash, but against the odds and thanks to the gods of plastic action figures it worked out. I just have to be careful with it. It's only going to spend its time on display anyway. Great quality control there Neca.

This is not meant as an insult but during your review I could tell you weren't aware Scout was one of the many members of The Lost Tribe who appeared at the end of Predator 2. Alot of those members share similar armor and weapons. Also to answer the question "Why be excited about Scout?" During the original Lost Tribe release by Neca, before Ultimate, Scout was one of the harder/more expensive Predators from that Tribe. So he may not look like much besides new head and rifle he's an updated version of a very sought after Predator also if your interested in completing your Lost Tribe you will need him.
My apologies for the ignorance I had in this video, I was a big collector of Predator figures but wasn't as much into the rich background and stories to these characters as I am now, I was looking at the figure for what it was and not appreciating really the significance of his release, something I hope I've done a better job with in the more newer Predator reviews. Thanks for coming by and checking out the video, hey if you don't mind me asking, could you tell me if you're still able to see my newer videos showing up on your subscription feed? its been affecting a lot of viewers and just wanted to make sure you're not one of them, thanks again
His face is sick asf but I held off on getting him cause he kinda is so similar to the rest. Wish he had different armor or atleast some necklaces

Got mine a year after this review and it does indeed have a spear holder. Love the figure but really perplexed why Neca can’t design a better fitting disk holder or a better gun mount on the back that would prevent slippage. These would be extremely easy fixes simply by tweaking the geometric design of the pieces in question.
Thats a definite Buy for me
Great video! The wristblades are kinda tapering towards each other on mine instead of being parallel. I tried to heat them up with warm water and pull them apart, but it didn't work out. What would you suggest to fix them? They feel somewhat brittle, and I don't want to end up snapping them off.

Found mine today in target there was also a ahab predator to i don't know if its a remake but it has nothing i mean nothing on the Scout Predator face sculp on this bad boy realistic looking best figure I've hunted in my toy hunt almost over looked it Neca keep it coming im still waiting on my tokka and Razor from the movie turtles i see people on TH-cam getting there wish i could have mine.

When I got mine the plasma caster wasn’t in the rack so I had to pry it open to slide it into place

I heard Lanard Predators have better articulation and stronger materials more durable you can just give it a paint wash there's videos it will look great

Ah yes, the standard problem for many predator figures; the smart disc does not fit into the holster on the right leg. We've been dealing with this problem for almost 10 years now, wonder if they'll ever figure out a way to get that thing to sit tight. But aside from that, everything else about this figure is great. Awesome review, and I eagerly await the remaining members.,
I Was able to get my disc in the city Hunter holster. Gotta work it in

it the same mold as a few figures that dont have it that i know of in my colection are scout and guardian they both have the hole but no clip

Scout most definitely IMOH. I passed on fugitive like 6 times now. SCOUT 1st look I was hooked. The only other out of the nine I want is elder. Got city Hunter & Scout. Passed on stalker 5 times. Big pass on Lasorshot Predator as well. Skipped him like 5 times. Wasn’t digging the batteries as I normally buy 2 of each. 1 I open for display & 1 for the sons to fight over down the line 😂
Just don’t want batteries in lasershot oozing out after sitting NIB on the shelf’s for 13 years waiting my sons.

Yes... He's already been through the prototype process and is rumoured to come out 2021, along with an updated PredAlien. There's a nice picture out there you should be able to find with a quick search.

@@ro-landocalrissian4633 I have both, it's the same predator "Scout" but the figures are different. This new one comes with extra stuff plus an extra unmasked head. The new one is much better than the original.
