It’s not Tamiya paint ! I use a 2k plastic primer, colour basecoat and a high gloss 2K lacquer ! Costs around £50 to paint a truck but it gives an amazing finish that lasts the life of the truck, plus it’s very hard wearing.
I do not use cans ! I use 2k basecote and lacquer and a spray gun to paint all customers trucks. To give you an idea though if you are thinking of using Tamiya spray paint tins , you will probably need around 6 tins of each, primer, colour and lacquer to get a decent finish !! Very expensive !! Don’t tell you that in the instructions do they ?! Even professional quality paint is expensive now !
It’s not an old hat Tamiya MFU, the item fitted is a GT professional item. Many more features, full control over all the lights individually from a smartphone app. Bonus is that they are half the price of a Tamiya unit.

Hello, What sound and light kit did you go with. Doesn't sound like the MFC. Does the instructions show an MFC fits.
