thanks for the video... they look good but even from here they seem useless... as far as function. I say this cause I installed the motogadget version of these on my friend bike and those things are ridiculously bright as they are expensive.. Also the are Directional.. I am not lying when I tell you following him on the highway at night and when he used the turn signals, he would light up every road sight about a 1/4 or a mile or more front and back of him.. and you see the lights from the back blinding you.. meaning you dont need turn signals in the rear of the bike at all.. I let him go about a mile in front and you could still easily see his turn signals flashing. (unfortunately he is one of those that never turn off his blinkers lol.) If its your forever bike... buy the motogadget... if you can.. but otherwise.. if you wanna be seen, forget about these cheap lights. Maybe they could be modified to work better.. who knows..
Nice vid Ben. I had these also for the K1100 build but had to replace as I didn't notice they weren't e-marked which is a must for registration in Aus. I changed up for highsiders and after getting over the price I'm so much happier being so much brighter and a better SMD. When it came down to it I actually think it was a good spend as it's pretty important for someone to see your turning.
@@Eight20 😅 Same here mate, it's hard not to be when the build budget just keeps rising! I do think it's a good spend now though, even my rears were cheap ebay ones that had e-mark but when I went for roadworthy inspection I had my wife follow me in the car just in case something went wrong (was my first big ride) and when I got there she said she could hardly see the indicator during the day. The guy sold Kellerman stuff there so I brought some on the spot and my god the difference was night and day.
Hey Ben, i was wondering what brake/clutch setup u used? Im looking for a decent front brake cylinder and a clutch lever to go with it, but find it pretty hard to find. The last one i ordered, the fitment to the original clutch cable was horrible.
@@Eight20 Makes sense and looks good! did you make your own cable for the clutch or did you have to change the oem K100 cable for it? Again thanks for your vids, they help a lot. Can’t wait to se your project finished!
@@sametozcan6871 I ended up modifing some new cables to suit, bit nerve racking cutting up brand new parts but it works. Twistedfatebuilds has just done a video on shortening cables, definitely worth a watch. Cheers dude!
Although incredibly expensive ($526 before discounts and tax) for 2 bar end mirrors and 2 bar end turn signals from Motogadget - they are incredibly INCREDIBLY well constructed and quality build. So, will the cheaper stuff work...I'm sure it does but if you can afford them or 'make it happen' as they say...I think they are worth it. My bar end M. Cruise and bar end turn signals total after tax were $414 after discounts so I couldn't say no.

Cheers Scott, luckily we don't need the e-mark over here.
I know if I did spend the money they would be decent but I'm tight AF 😂

Problem with most cheap indicators is that are not generally water proof.
So fail quickly
I bought them for € 2,- a pair. Exactly the same.

I'm using gsxr 1000 k2 brake and clutch set up, I thought this would be the best way to go as I wanted an OEM feel.

Hi mate, have you got through an MOT with these as your only front indicators? Thank you
It's not gone in for an MOT yet, I hear it depends on the tester, at the end of the day as long as they can be seen from the rear it should pass.
