Thank you for this video. I'm a Portuguese knitter, so normally in a 1 colour work i hold the yarn around my neck it's amazing to control tention but for colour work gets really messy. I've been watching loads of videos on how to do it the English way but couldn't quite understand the process properly. Finally, with your video, I'm now more confident and can knit quicker. Great video and excellent PDF pattern. It was very easy to understand. I am pretty new to knitting and I never done Fair isle before. I finished the beanie its turn out great for a inexperienced person. Thank you
I am trying to learn which method I can do more easily and less time consuming. I knit English style and pick up and lay down each yarn. Got to practice how your other methods. Thanks for your video! I have watched several.
I'm afraid this isn't fair isle work, it is stranded colour work knitting. We work both colours throwing from the right forefinger. Love from Shetland xxx
