Southern homes are among my favorites because I am from the south. I can appreciate the rich layers of objects collected from tag sales, flea markets and summer highway yard sales that stretch for miles.

This was such an enjoyable home tour. I love how she honors the vintage nature of her home while creating a wonderful place for her family. Her individual tastes and not following trends is so refreshing!!

Harper was too cute. Loved her hand motions. I have a daughter who is 41 years old now. We share ideas on home design. I knew she would love design because one day I came home and she had rearranged the great room furniture. I loved the new look. She was Harper's age then. We inspire each other in our own home design now. We are in different states but home design bonds us!

I did the same, and painted over some otherwise beautiful canvas. For me I started because i wanted to get into painting, but then it was to turn canvas art into better art. I love texture and it also brings back old canvas to life, or to even adjust color to fit my color scheme...
Your place is charming. Love the sconce pair you found here and there. And the parrot art piece is beautiful. Lovely small barrel chairs. The Holiday Inn lamp & lampshade is a beauty. Can go anywhere. The Aruba large sofa is, ugh charming.
Great Kitchen, i have to find plate holders like that! I like the sconces there too. Its a lovely setup; that window, counter space.

Finally I am not the only one that uses my front entrance as a dining room/library/living area! Your home is absolutely amazing. Also Whenever I feel like I may be cluttering up my home I just watch Homeworthy and I'm like- I'm good ,let me go thrifting/antiquing . So much to love about this home! For example…she’s inspired me to look into cordless lamps. A great idea. The jack ‘n jill bath…so great. I love that barely-there blush pink. Pink is a great color, and it’s unfairly overlooked. Then contrasting it with that over-the-top flamingo wallpaper in the wet area…genius! That front porch is incredible. It makes the segue way into the dining room make so much sense. And I like that she doesn’t hide the china and drink-ware. It compels one to make frequent use of them because they are always visible. The only look that’s not my cup of tea is the sponge-painted hallway. But she didn’t ask my opinion and that’s why there’s chocolate and vanilla! Please let me know of YOUR favorite vignettes in this video. I only touched on a few.

I was just feeling like I was a pack-rat, I have a cluttered home, I cannot do the minimalism way, but man I have a lot of decor stuff. Then I find this tour of this beautiful home in Alabama. She has used all of her things, used every inch of every wall, even inside closets. Amazing. I don't think I'll beat myself up anymore. Let's fill our homes with what we like to look at, like this home. Thank you for opening your home to us, letting us peak into how you live, and get some great ideas for decor in our own homes.

this house is just soooooo full of love. amazing art collections - i LOVE how everything is arranged so haphazard and it just feels so personal and comfortable. not at all "edited" or "curated" - just full of personality and sooo stylish ! some of her thrifting stories are CRAZY. like finding those two matching wall sconces in two different places. insane!!!!! i was laughing out loud at the 80s sponge painting reference but my god she made those handpainted walls look STUNNING. my favorite were the kids rooms!!!! those kids are so blessed to grow up in a beautiful home filled with so many beautiful objects - it's going to impact their aesthetics forever. wish them all the best!!! what a lovely host - love her speaking voice - sometimes i skip forward in long home tours but i watched the whole hour :) i really enjoyed all her thrifting stories

I live on GA /AL line (we have farm here), and my husband does a lot of work in the Montgomery area and all over. I have had a hard time finding good antique or vintage stores and all the good stuff ends up in expensive shops. I also have lived all over FL and have home there, too. Our walls are similar color in living room and style similar to mine. Really almost passed over it but glad I did. I LOVE the pheasant and my libray has lot of them in it. Our families (my husband and I) are from NC, GA, AL, TN, FL so we spend a lot of time in these places where we still have either a home and or our familes homes. I had a designer from AL who has/had tv show and was wanting help on our home but was not working style wise and could definitely see working with this woman she seems fun and great mixing of styles . I dont like trendy or homes like museum (I grew up in those) We have very southern style and taste. She did beautiful job in her home and love mixing high and lower priced items and having eye to turn something no one likes into something great. Glad I saw this one and will have to look out for her and if she has store to go visit.
Harper is toooo stinking adorable….I do love all of your artwork…I have a ton of paintings on my walls and someone asked me …is this a store????so rude…she is no longer a friend!!!….love your green shutters..they would be cute with pictures or cards stuck on them…your porch is the greatest

Her son‘s room and the Aruba space is beautiful. The flamingo and pelican pictures are salivations. A bit full but very nicely done. She’s so creative and a beautiful soul. That makes her home♥

What a beautiful home! I would never paint my walls this dark but it looks so nice!! I love all the colour and the art (except the pheseant). But it all works so well and is individual and not based on trends. And most I like the mother- daughter interaction. Harper is such a cool young lady😃. Quirky, different, eclectic....she proves that one can decorate a whole house on a shoestring budget (from thrift shops, given from friends or relatives, or Amazon). Her daughter did a superb job!

Beautiful home! I'm from Birmingham Alabama lived here my whole life! And this definitely doesn't represent the city to me! She has definitely turned the house into her roots of being from Florida! It's definitely coastal vibe to me! Alabama is more Homey feeling and laid back, country, Elegant, urban!

May we please come back and see the primary bedroom and bathroom? I loved this tour so much, and I decided that if I ever won the lottery, I would beg this lady to come to Arizona and decorate my house!! I love color and a very collected, layered, vintage and antique decor. I’m always leery of designers that want to push a very neutral space and furnishings. It’s not me, and never will be-this home is absolutely perfect! I’d love to know the scent and brand of candles that were burning in the dining room and living room. They appeared to be peach colored on my screen. Thank you so much for sharing your home and your daughter for doing such a great job showing her bedroom!!!
