- First Time in Hong Kong - Hong Kong functions as a special administrative region under China. This was our first time in Hong Kong and we were shocked by the vibrant energy pulsating through the crowded streets. Hong Kong is more than just a concrete jungle, it's a metropolis with diverse cultures, incredible food and lots of green space.

Brings back memories. HK is probably my favourite city in the world, it has everything!
We loved our time there 🥰
It has everything except freedom of speech
Albert I can’t agree more 🫶
@@albertma1 Don't worry. You still have freedom of speech.
welcome :) go 2 my house NOW.
Now you guys are in my city Hong Kong. I highly recommend you go to the Peak after 6:00 PM the night lights over Hong Kong are amazing. If you have time, go to the Stanley Market on the south side of Hong Kong Island. Take a bus from Exchange Square in Central take number 6 and also take a ferry at pier 5 to Discovery Bay. Hong Kong has over 200 islands
Thanks for the suggestions ☺️
Yes, the night views overlooking the city lights is breathtaking. 😊👍
Wow what a bumper episode! So much packed in! What a stunning place! Had no idea Hong Kong was such a juxtaposition! Those skyline views! Stunning!
There’s just so much to see and do in Hong Kong we absolutely loved the vibes there 🥰🥰
Unfortunately, Hong Kong and Macau are far too underrated in the world in my opinion.
Hainan Province, China, is visa-free, so you can visit without a visa. If your visa expires, you can go to Hainan, which is an island. Suitable for traveling, the weather is warm.
However you'll need a 3rd country/territory to leave mainland China first.
Entire Sanya area full of holiday resorts.
Sanya(Yalong bay and Haitang bay are so beautful ), Wanning (surfing and enjoy the blue sea), Qingshui bay, and the capital city Haikou which has a national volcano park there, and a pretty zoo with pandas, must a try.
Sounds good 👍🏻
But Visa card and Mastercard not accepted! And people not like Japanese that welcoming and place sparking clean
I will be there in two weeks and I can feel the excitement and energy of Hong Kong watching you two having the time of your life.
Hong Kong is so cool and there’s so much to do 🥰🤩 definitely a fun place
Welocome to our home Hongkong ~~ 😊
HK is absolutely one of my fav city, a very good combination of the east and the west
Such an epic place we love it 🥰
being a HK citizen, suggesting to visit the peak again at night time. you will see an amazing scenary
Oh that sounds epic 🤩👍🏻
But only when the sky is clear , otherwise the fog will block the beautiful night scene . It is definitely the most beautiful night view in the world , and I have been travelling around for 50 years .
@@raymondwong9711 sometimes when the fog is really low, that can be magical too, especially if the fog is below some of the tops of skyscrapers in Central, and there's patches of light coming up through the sea of clouds.
Hong Kong is really a very beautiful place with city, hills, beaches and sea. Welcome to Hong Kong! ❤
Good morning dear Sun Kissed Bucket List.I am so happy to see you in Hong Kong touring.
I hope you have a nice trip. May God bless and fill your wish thinking ever.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Good morning! Thanks ☺️
Happy to run into this video, first time visiting your channel. Welcome to HK and happy you guys enjoyed it. It's funny you would say it's super busy and the streets are "buzzing", actually we are at our lowest busy levels we have ever been right now. You are supposed to have trouble getting through the streets at Tsim Sha Tsui lol
Welcome to Hong Kong. Actually there are a lot of hills here, so we got many amazing hiking trails. 😊😊 Hiking down from the Peak is great as well.
Sounds great! 😊
Hiking up from Tung Chung to the Po Lin Monastery to visit the Big Buddha. Then take the Ngon Ping 360 cable car back to Tung Chung. BTW, there are many hiking trails in HK and you can search details include the location & transportation via internet.
Welcome to hk!🎉 just a heads up, in hk we don't use "xiexie" as majority speaks cantonese but not mandarin, simply say "thank you" is really good enough!
Don't worry! Xie Xie works just fine in Hong Kong. We understand that perfectly.
@@rickycheung69 No it doesn't. Our language is dying, the Chinese is trying to kill the HK culture bit by bit. Please cherish our precious language and don't speak the China language in Hong Kong. We appreciate that a lot.
Say 'mm goi' or 'dor tse' please.
Nothing exciting so polluted
@@chiudaniel Hello Daniel: Quite a few Hong Kong locals say "thank you" in English to each other and I am sure some of our grandparents might thought the western culture "killed" the Chinese culture back in the colonial era. Time has changed and the culture of the city keeps evolving. I suggest you get used to it and adapt to the circumstances.
@@chiudaniel While I do agree that dialects/languages/cultures should be kept and protected, one should ask their people and government to do so, instead of forcing foreign travelers to speak one language while they already speak one that's totally understood by the people.
Great video, HK looks like such a fun place, the views and food look amazing! Hope to visit there soon.
It really is! 😍
Welcome to Hong Kong. Hope you enjoyed your stay! And our bubble tea didn’t disappoint!
都唔知有咩好饮
we have a better drink recently, pounded lemon tea. so good. i suggest a place called 有檸 in Causeway Bay. they're not a generic chain store and don't have any other branches. they also have a more local type of citrus called wampee which has a different but nice fragrance and taste.
Bubble tea all day everyday haha 😛
Very relaxing video
Joyful presentation! Thanks for sharing. You are doing great again! 👍👍
Thank you 🤩
Thanks for this amazing video. The places you have visited reminds me of my childhood and teenage memories. I took the tram Ding Ding everyday when transporting to and from my elementary and high school. I love how vibrant, energetic and convenience Hong Kong is. I am glad you visited HK in January, the weather at this time is quite cool, not as hot and humid as the coming months will be, you can enjoy the outdoors more. I like this one hour video, I see you have put a lot of effort to film and edit to show the best side of HK to us. And the most important thing is, i can tell you two are really enjoying your stay in HK :) Can't wait to see more !!
We can’t wait to explore more 🥰
Welcome to HK! Been a big fan since your Shanghai videos. Hope to bump into you in HK if you’re still here and hope to see you guys check out more of China too!!
If u see us make sure to come say hello 🤩
Wow, you two went to HongKong! Enjoy your trip 🎉🎉
We’re loving it here 🥰
Thank you for visiting Hong Kong and glad that you guys had fun! Welcome to come back anytime :)
Hope you enjoyed the very unique country/region of Hong Kong! Truly a mix of the best of both East and West. Feel free to come back any time soon :)
Hong Kong was so much fun we loved it 🥰
thanks for visiting my home city 👍 Hong Kong is truly a vibrant & energetic city. I am sure you will enjoy the stay.
We’re loving it so far 🥰🥰
you must visit the West Kowloon Cultural District including the M+ Museum and the Palace Museum as well as the open space along the seashore just outside the district. Best to visit there near sunset. 👍
you can also consider to visit the Sky100 which is the sky terrace located at the 100th floor of the tallest building (108 storey / 484m / 1588ft) in Hong Kong - International Commerce Centre just next to the West Kowloon Cultural District to experience 360° views over the Hong Kong city & Victoria Harbour. 👍
Welcome to hk guys, following is a list of places you should check out if you have time:
1. Stanley Beach (hk side)
2. Temple street (Kowloon side)
3. Lantau Island
4. Sneakers street (Kowloon side)
5. Lan Kwai Fong (hk side)
6. Laser show at 8pm every night (anywhere near tst or hk harbour)
7. Ladies market (Kowloon side)
Feel free to pm me if you have any questions abt hk 😉
Enjoy!!!
Thanks for the recommendations 👍🏻☺️
Recommended by TH-cam to see your video and I am happy that you had a great time in Hong Kong! Recommend to visit the park in Tin Hau next time and you can have a better view with board skaters playing along next to you🎉
Great video and welcome to Hong Kong😊
Thank you 🤩
I am from Hong Kong , and I am very grateful to see your video about your journey ,yep, because Hong Kong is the international city in China,so it will be more apartments in the same area ,as a result hk population about 8 million ❤❤
Welcome to Hong Kong🇭🇰❤
I love my home😊😂
You will find more Western-style buildings in Tsim Sha Tsui and Hong Kong Island because Hong Kong was once a British colony.
Another interesting fact is that only Hong Kong Island has trams.
Welcome to Hong Kong! 18:40, 47:14 & 3:22 even more beautiful at night! 😊 Have a nice trip! ❤
We would love to check these out at night 🤩
Oh wow, welcome to my home town! Hope you guys enjoy/enjoyed HK!
We’re having the best time in HK 🥰
People in Hong Kong speak Cantonese, "xie xie" is actually mandarin. Please use "dor tse" instead of "xie xie". We would be really appreciated if we hear Cantonese from tourists ❤
Or you can speak in English to us. We are fine.
Don’t “Nei hai” us … that’s discrimination!
Don't worry! Xie Xie works just fine in Hong Kong. It's easier for foreigners to say so.
@@rickycheung69 ofcuz We understand xie xie but this is not how we say usually. It is just like you say arigatō to a Korean.
@@rickycheung69 logical fallacy
love seeing u get excited at the smallest thing, u guys r living life the right way id say
You guys should go to the horse racing event in Hong Kong 🐎
It’s happens every Wednesday night in “Happy Valley”. There are lots of foreigners go there (either expats or tourists). It’s very famous and crowded. You guys might love it.
Sounds like a plan 👍🏻
Suggest doing a hike, perhaps Dragon’s Back in Shek O / Big Wave Bay area on the southeast side of HK Island. Also, take a ferry to one of the outlying islands such as Cheung Chau or Lamma Island. Ocean Park on HK Island near Aberdeen or Disneyland near the airport are nice too! Definitely head over the border to Shenzhen! Have fun, guys! Hope the weather gets better for you folks. Today’s weather in HK was gorgeous!
That sounds great, we’d love to check those hikes out! Thanks for the recommendation ☺️
Welcome to HK! Actually you missed the best lookout point at the peak. It’s only 5 min from the tram station, you would see unobstructed views (without that wildfire restaurant and the building constantly in your back) please try to go again at night, it’s so amazingly beautiful
The best yet to come after sun set ... you guys need to explore Hong Kong night life!
Oh we’re looking forward to it 🤩🤩
Welcome to our compact but diversified and energetic city! Have a wonderful time and make some unforgettable memories! ❤
Thank you 🤩
Welcome to Hong Kong 🇭🇰.
Bruce Lee literally the Legend of the Martial Art💙
His Philosophy and Legacy definitely will last foreverrr…..
It was so cool to be able to see the statue 🥰
Your video is like your music you choose. Feel happy from start to end. Love u.
That’s how we felt, happy and excited 🥰🤩
Welcome to HK! My office is just round the corner from where you had the dim sum lunch and I often get take away from there. Wish I knew you were coming and would have loved to meet you guys.
Great to see to see you're enjoying it here! Just a few things, the taxi's are all pretty new, not as new as the ones in China, the vast majority are Toyota Crowns, they just look old.....
It appears you arrived just after Chinese New Year here and many are still on holiday and the main business districts are still quiet, starting tomorrow, it will be much busier.
Getting across the road from the shopping mall to the harbour, actually there's a tunnel at the basement carpark of the World Trade Centre that take you to the harbour, where it exists is a cannon where Jardines will fire the noon-day gun every day! SO you may wish to make a trip there to see them fire it.
Travelling through HK, you could get an Octopus Card, similar to an Oyster Card, only capable of being used in just about all public transport, many fast food restaurants, convenience stalls, supermarkets, and many more and you can top them up at any convenience store, supermarket and many other stores. It's available from any MTR station and you can return it when you leave or keep it as a souvenir.
You'll need to go back to the peak and victoria harbour at night, the views are absolutely stunning. At 8pm every night there is a light show and if you watch from the kowloon side of the Star Ferry, you will get the accompanying music from the area by that big clock tower. Oh, BTW, it's not a light house at the top, the location used to be the railway terminus, when they demolished it, they kept the clock tower.
With a 3 month visa you've plenty of time to visit HK, and you should go to some of the temples in Kowloon and New Territories, namely Wong Tai Sin Temple in Kowloon and Che Kung Temple in Shatin, both have their own MTR Stations. Both of these are commonly visited at this time of the year.
Oh no way! That would be so cool to meet you! Thank you so much for all the tips and recommendations, it’s super helpful to us! We already can’t wait to come back to Hong Kong 🤩
I am loving your China videos!
We’re glad you’re enjoying them 🥰✌🏻

In HK, you may visit Cheung Chau Island for a fishing village vibe. And/or visit the Big Buddha riding the Ngong Ping 360 cable car.
Sounds good 👍🏻
Hong kong will be even better after 2047. Definitely will be more cleaner and greener.

We loved our time in Hong Kong 🤩
Actually M plus is located in somewhere else close to Tsim Sha Tsui (West Kowloon District), the one you guys passed by is the Art Museum
As a Hongkonger, sometimes it is hard for me to appreciate our city due to the high-pressured environment. Thanks for your video! It makes me viewing my hometown in a new perspective. ❤
welcome to hk and enjoy the days here
nice to watch your new video that make me to enjoy again
We’re glad you enjoyed it 🥰
Western Press has been bad mouthing HK upcoming article 23 but if your plan to commit espionage or trying to steal state secrets , you're don't need to worry. Normal HK people and tourists should not worry unless you're planning to commit those crimes.
The CIA can no longer operate in Hong-Kong ! :( ...LoL

Welcome to my hometown. I was there for a 3-week visit last September. Temperature >33° and humdity around 95% daily. You just get used to it.
It wasn’t too hot or humid right now 🤩
Welcome to Hong Kong! just introduce some signature dishes your guys must try in HK. 1, plain chicken( with ginger and shallot sauce); 2, roast goose; 3, double-skinned milk (baffolo milk pudding). Enjoy your days in HK.
Sounds delicious thanks for the suggestions 🥰🥰
Welcome to my hometown, hope you enjoy our local food
Welcome to HK🥳🥳😍😍
You guys are full of energy! Unfortunately it's too late now. At 44:05, there is actually a tunnel underneath the mall (its carpark) that goes to the other side of the thoroughfare.
After HK you should visit Macau. Love watching all your videos. Have a great time in HK. Take care! Cheers!
Would love to visit macau too 🥰
It's actually the sea and not a river between Kowloon and HK. It's really narrow because of landfill.
Thanks for sharing ☺️
I am waiting for you to show me most of UK, Canada and the USA. You are both amazing and incredible couples that can almost be considered Asians too haha! I love both of you. Enjoy, take care and have lots of fun! Rarely see people enjoy Asia so much 😂! I want to see you in other continents too. Good job!
I don't need to travel anymore after travelling with you together on TH-cam lol! Thank you so much!
Sorry you guys, I know you love bubble tea, but the bubble teas in Hong Kong is going to be very expensive compare to the mainland. However, there is one Mi Xue in Mong Kok district. Theirs are still cheap compare to the others. When you go to Mong Kok, take the subway to Mong Kok station and get out at Exit E2. You will see Mi Xue on your right as soon as you get out.
Aww thanks for letting us know and for the directions to Mi Xue 🥰🤩

We’d love to! Thanks a lot ☺️
Lovely lovely lovely. Hv you been out 2 a.m. and feel absolutely safe ? That is Hong Kong.
What did you expect Hong Kong to be like?
I recommend you should visit horse racing events in Hong Kong. There are free beers and live band on every Wednesday in Shatin.
Free beer and we don’t have to place any bets on the horses? That’s a no brainer lol 😂
Great china’s 🇨🇳stunning Hong Kong 🇭🇰 Macau 🇲🇴 Taiwan 🇹🇼 cities 🏙 thanks for visiting great China 🇨🇳 👍❤️
Since you are in HK, you might want to reenter China by Guangchou and travel southwards towards Guiling, great landscape, breathtaking. I am sure you are not done with China. Back north there is the avartar mountains then you have Xian, Kunming, Dali and the Himalayas where you can go some distance by cable cars and hike up the stairs. And in Yunan, there is the famous Tiger leaping gourge and other than that Yunan has one of the most breathtaking landscpe in the country side. Happy Adventure! Just a few suggestions since you are near to China. You might not be sure when you can have a chance for another trip if you left that area now, Just making the best and planning well!
Of course we’d love to return to China in the future! Thanks for all the suggestions ☺️
43:03 on the right side there used to be a Dodwell department store there in the 70s and 80s, the only place i could remember be able to buy Cavendish and Harvey drop candies

Welcome to Hong Kong. when you taking ding ding, have you try step twice on the "button" next to pedal under the wheel, it is actually a "car horn" with ding ding sound, that is why it call ding ding
Oh no way we had no idea haha 😛
thx for visiting hk, being hkonger, we welcome u😍😍
Welcome to HK, enjoy your trip. Ding Ding Trams charges one fixed price no matter where you get on and where you get off. 😊
It’s a easier place to explore in China, locals have certain level of English ability to communicate.
Haha yeah we realised it’s fixed no matter where you come off but it’s so cool, we enjoyed it every single time 🥰🤩
You had to get the ice-cream. Its iconic. Started by two British guys, I think ex-army.
Smaller red taxis old style, but not necessarily really old, It is also an eco-friendly gas taxi.

Welcome to Hong Kong. Wish you love it. Next time to get an Octopus card at airport, that would be more convenient when you pay public transport
must be off season because that's not the hk I remember lol. it's usually packed everywhere. good thing you checked it out in the winter because it's horrible in the summer heat and humidity. hk, aka cantonese food is probably my favorite among the chinese cuisines. on the flip side, all the good restaurants are usually packed and you have to share tables which is kind of weird if you are not use to it :D
Not many mainlanders coming anymore and more hongkongers going up to Shenzhen particularly on weekends.
Off season? We still think this was busy lol anything more would have been too much 🤣
Lots have changed in HK...
HAHAHAHA Fantastic view beside bakery store 31:53 :D
Never miss roast goose and Dim Sum in Hong Kong!! Go either Kam’s Roast Goose or Yung Kee. For Dim Sum there many good places.
We would love to try the goose here 🥰
There is a sneakers street in Mongkok and you can see over 30 sneaker stores, with all the latest models, lots of tourists like to shop there.
That sounds cool 😎
Looks like this is a new Peak Tram and the cable has been replaced. You could feel the cable pulling and stopping before. It was a bit scary if this was your first time.
There is a SOGO corner at Causeway Bay. Not sure you actually were there when you were at Causeway Bay. I think you can get there by ding ding or MTR. They have a lot of shops there too.
Also this year Hong Kong has a spectacular 1000 drone Chinese New Year show by Crostars. But I think it was just one time for New Year. It is at the same location where you can watch the nightly "A Symphony of Lights" show. I think that one is 8pm. You can check with your Hotel if they are still doing the drone show. Or just go there for light show and night view of Hong Kong.
"The best viewing locations of this nightly spectacle are the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront outside the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and the Avenue of Stars, the promenade at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wanchai, and from sightseeing ferries in the Victoria Harbour."
Sounds good thank you for the suggestions 🤩
In the 60s I went up by a tram to the top. There is a telescope there. I think I saw Greer Garson sitting on a bench. There were quite a few Hollywood stars in Hong Kong at that time. I think I saw Stewart Granger doing a shoot. Gina Lollobrigida was visiting and was photograghed sitting on a rickshaw. Of course, Hong Kong was a British Colony at that time.
Wow 🤩

I was in Hong Kong for 4 years completed my high school before I left for the States for university. Vietnam War had started and in the harbour were on occasion an aircraft carrier with the soldiers on R and R wandering the streets mostly in Wanchai. "The World of Suzie Wong" starring William Holden and Nancy Kwan describes it best. William Holden did two movies in Hong Kong. "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" with Jennifer Jones. I am compressing all in a statement.
