As stated, this vehicle never came in Silver. The 337 ONLY came in Silver. Volkswagen of America offered a version of the German 25th Anniversary GTI here in America to be called the GTI 337 Edition. EA337 was the original code name for the first generation A1 GTI. The GTI 337 Edition is model year 2002. 1500 337 GTIs were sold in in the USA and another 250 in Canada. There are specific differences between the 20AE GTI and the GTI 337 Edition. Remember, the 20th was the anniversary of the GTI in the US market. The 337 (despite being sold in the USA) was the model to recognize the 25th anniversary of the GTI in the German market. The 20th AE GTI had a black headliner and the 337 a gray headline - red stitching on the 337 components and silver stitching on the 20th AE GTI components. Same seats and many many other parts are the same. The 337's had 18" BBS wheels that were notorious for peeling. The 20th AE GTI had 18" OZ wheels with Michelin Pilot Sports. The 20AE GTI is a 2003 model year vehicle. I personally owned a 20AE GTI in Imola Yellow and the Number was 1869. I subsequently sold it in 2006 and bought a 2006 MkV GTI which I sold in 2010 when I bought a 2010 MkVI GTI. I sold that a few years later. I currently own an Audi A6 with the 4.2L V8. I can no longer drive manual transmission after breaking both my ankles at the same time and having extensive surgery 3 months ago. If you Google it, there is a 20th Anniversary Edition GTI Registry on a site pharfruminsain dot com. I owned my 20th when I lived in New Jersey. I now live in Pittsburgh, but sold my car in Houston, Texas. I am a native of Houston and moved back in 2004. Sold my 20th in 2006. As I understand it, my car is now (or most recently) owned by a guy with VWVortex user name Duo2054. My username on VWVortex is also Lellobeetle - as is my username across all boards on the internet and Facebook and here on my TH-cam Channel. Hope this information helps.

You're right about the colors bro except that out of the 4000 20th aniversary built for the U.S. you said 2000 were black, the right color name is "black magic" and the other 1000 is "Imola yellow". The 3rd color is Jazz blue which was the other 1000 VW gti's built for the U.S. for a total of 4000. VW didn't ever make a 20th anniversary GTI in silver. Just so you know

If you really know about cars and you see the hood and the front bumper you should know that there is somthing that doesn't add up there. The hood its missing the insulation and the bumper paint dont match with the fender.
Fitment is off with the bumper and fender also. Peculiar....
They only came in imola yellow, black and jazz blue (I heard silver in the video), and the description says GTI 30th Anniversary, not 20th. But it was a fantastic overview other than that! I have #1134 :)

They all do that interior fall apart on these in the sun

Sweet car! This is one of the nicest ones I've seen, helps that it's a Florida car lol not a big fan of Raceland coilovers since they're kind of cheap and go bad quicker than lets say Teins but I like the stance, not too low but low enough to give it an aggressive stance.
