Great video!! We are using Berean Builders Biology for my 9th grader and she is loving it. I also bought a couple of the Berean builders science courses for my daughter going into middle school next year and they look amazing too! I wish I would have known about their elementary science when we were first homeschooling, but I’m glad we found something that we love for middle school and high school.
I’m so glad to hear this! We are having so much fun with it so far. It’s great to know that it’s a winner even in the older grades! Thank you for sharing!
We are doing this as part of the my father’s world as almost an extra with my older but we do it all together cuz it’s more for the younger ones, and I have been loving it from a mom’s pov because it is so easy to read aloud and makes it really understandable for me and the kids. I’m looking into it for their other topics next year cuz we loved this one.
We are working our way through this curriculum and love it. It’s the number one subject my daughter asks for all the time! Experiments are easy and just need simple household items really. I love apologia science but it was too long for my daughter. We’re in 3rd grade, and we’re both super excited to continue this curriculum through HS 😊
Hey, thanks for sharing this! How has this curriculum been going for you since you posted this? I am looking for something like this for my kiddos who are 8 and 11. Does it have a workbook?
@@ladyfritzler we did enjoy it. Made it a little over halfway through before I had to make an adjustment. Science is such a hard one for me because I get so bored by the textbooks! I enjoyed using this one with a variety of picture books on the same topic. It slows down the lessons but I don’t mind that.
Thank you so much for the review! I have been looking at this for our family next year. I am interested to see how you feel about it after trying it 😊.
I definitely want to hear how you like it. It’s number one on my list to try for Science. I agree with Apologia science. I’m like so many homeschoolers love this curriculum and I found it to be soo long and dry with so many scientific terminology. It didn’t hold any of our attentions.
I will definitely give an update soon. Apologia was hard for us but I’m hanging on to my texts. They are definitely beautiful and I like the activities in their as well. Just not the right time for us. Maybe when mine are older? Idk…hard to let go just yet 😜
It's going really well. I need to do a little update video. We are really enjoying it a lot! For the notebooking, I have my kids draw a diagram of the experiment on a half sheet of paper. It keeps their hands busy while I read the lesson. We don't do it for every activity, but for most of them. My oldest will also write the answers to the review questions on her sheet. I'll share what they look like soon! So far I'm really happy with it!

We are loving it as well! We do it all together (ages 3-10) and it’s been such a good fit!

So how is this going? Did you figure out what to do for a notebook?
