Jim Carey is probably the least "crazy" celeb out there. I couldn't have more respect for the guy. Once you have seen what Jim has obviously seen, then you can't just go back to pretending and following the masses. He grew tired of playing the role of himself and moved on.
He grew up on the inside. That's what real maturity is, I think. Too many performers are sucked in and never really grow up. I think it's why Paul Newman refused to live in Hollywood, gave very few interviews, and really wasn't very cooperative with the interviewers whose questions were ridiculous to him. He asserted that he was playing the same part over and over. I get it now: He was playing the character of Paul Newman, the one he created.
What if you learned that he was just as guilty as Epstein? Or involved? Or had his own island ? Why did it take him so long to come out against it and he hasn't gone hard enough like Kanye did where u can only come back if your indie from them on. It sounds to me like Jim reached full saturation of Hollywood's bologna and finally bailed out. This is how I have felt toward the industry for many years as well. I have not attended a movie in over fifteen years, nor do I watch tv anymore; I don't miss the mindless trash it produces. It's hard to walk away from fame and fortune but Jim did. Good for him !

Am a voice over artist, and was wondering the same ! The pronunciation of 'ubiquitous' as 'oobiquitous' and the stumbling on 'Bill Maher', as well as the weirdly 'over natural' delivery suggests AI.

An American friend once told me that Hollywood was an ugly place where not everything is fame and Jim Carrey isn't an isolated case. Besides, no one will be prepared to live in a world without Jim.
