Seems Hoang understands that an economy is only as good as what you are able to get out of it. A focus on economy is of no use, if your enemy prevents you from utilizing it. There is, after all, a limit to how many units one can pump out at a time, all the while any extra resources you bank are useless to you as they build. I think Hoang will end up the Mike Tyson of AOE2, where his strength is knocking out people before they become dangerous, through a flurry of specific build orders and tactics to keep pressure at an all time high. But, just like Mike Tyson, he will be weak to someone who is able to drag the match out, and wear out his stamina to the point where a better economy tilts the battle away from his favor... Someone like Fatslob.
I think Belgium should have sent just one or two CA forward earlier on. In a normal game, you send enough to one shot villagers to maximize kills. But if you're just trying to shut down Huang's eco or force him to chase you, you don't need a mass.
