I managed to defend Hammerman's attack on first attempt this time as well.I didn't have any Ice statues, but for me he was only level 61 and probably a lot easier (I am level 47). Does anyone know what his level is based on, experience, victory pints, base upgrades etc? I am guessing one of your problems was that rocket launcher that was being upgraded, it would have helped a lot.

You should be taking full advantage of the fact that Hammerman doesn't use GBE! Since he doesn't use GBE you can bunch up all your defenses together which will create a much greater overlapping field of fire and you will eat him up every single time. No fear of any barrages or mortars!

That was awesome
I suggest put tanky buildings at front with mines behind then put mmg and flame.. Rockets on extreme left and right and one in middle.. Shocks left and right at the center of the base in y-axis.. Rest put canons to fillup the space.. And u dont even need ice statues.. Zooka rifel warios gets wrecked.. And without them heavy cant do much.. Make sure u finish off low hp high dmg troops asap.. I got a win on 1st try every time vs hamerman.. Hope this helps

When I took hammer on I had to drastic ly redesign my entire base around
And it took along time about 30 mins to 1 hour
When does hammermen attack u? Like at what HQ level or is it when u defeat lv 60 hammermen
I'm level 49 and my base isn't particularly high defence, but I've never once lost to Hammerman and never boosted against him either. Does he get harder as you level up, or am I just lucky to have a base that suits defending against him?
You get harder to defend attacks based on your Victory points.

At HQ17 Hammerman is ridiculously easy. I did have to change my base, but for some reason my new base was way better than my old base against regular people. I always had trouble defending against regular people

You should do lines of defense so that it the next after the next and the rockets in the back and boom cannons so that they destroy the heavys and other stuff like that. So manly do lines of cannons boom cannons shock lonchers crap like that..
Hopefully, because of peeps needing to change their bases a lot during hammerman, SC will add some sort of base editor.

I'm at hq 11..most opponents have that 4 sniper guarding their bases like at square ends..which troops will defeat them..
I'm HQ11 and I mass tank like a scared child.

After I've collected 1000 power powders I almost stopped getting shards and crystals in my attacks, it seems the chance of getting them has dropped to zero. Does anyone has any idea on that? I tried to find info about it on the net but haven't found any report confirming that

If you had a shock blaster you wouldn't have needed that statue. Shock blaster is mvp vs hammerman. It is dangerous against every troop.

No drastic changes at all! He was level 68 I'm level 48 I beat him first try with one ice statue and it wasn't even boosted! My base works well!
