Crows are being slept on. You have to consider how good their fixture is next year as well and they could potentially finish at 10th-4th in my opinion. Also had 5 great pickups during the offseason.
LMAO talk about delusional biased fanboys. Collingwood won ONE more game than Melbourne last year but of course they are going to shoot in opposite directions and bookend the ladder HAHAH especially with Melbourne getting back full strength Oliver and Petracca, two of the top 5 players in the comp... just plaain clownish
@@frarfarfOliver and Petracca are just 2 players, yes you have Gawn, May and Lever as well, but next to that you have a culture where players are out of control and players who show no respect to opposition as well as complacency and entitlement. Collingwood for players have the Daicoses, the younger is a top 2 player, De Goey, Moore, Houston, Pendlebury, Maynard, Elliott, Hill, Quaynor, Howe and Crisp
Freo can make at least top 4. Its all comes down to three factors: Consistency: Winning more games and having more consistent performances, don't let close games slip though the fingers. Aggressive Forward Fire Power: Keep firing in the forward line, now that Freo have heaps of options in goalkickers, use all the weapons as possible, high scoring with high percentage. Healthy Players: Keep the team as injury free as possible, especially with key players.
They always have an easy fixture though, and they still always either miss finals or barely scrape in. We saw it this year, if Cripps isn't tearing the oppo apart and putting Carlton on his back, they're doomed because nobody else wants to lift. Couple that in with their sub-par game plan and weak mentality, the Blues missing the 8 isn't too farfetched.
As a Bombers fan, 15th place prediction sounds about right if we play a younger and less experienced team than this year. Would love for us to finish higher but will not hold my breath.
My concern with the Dorkers is if they lose Brayshaw and Serong. Those guys have barely missed a game for years and been largely fit. They are so important to the team and I'm not sure if the Dorkers have given the support staff enough games and experience in key roles. Likewise in key defensive roles, injuries would hurt them. Dorker fans need to ask the club why they haven't given guy more game time and thrown guys around in multiple roles to develop flexibility. I reckon they have good depth on paper, but seem to lack the experience. So any injury crisis could really hurt them more than it should.
@@Hasbulla42069 I reckon those 2 guns are so important. Then you have guys that have played constant WAFL or been fringe bench players or forwarsd specialists like Switowski. I think they've missed a trick to give guys more experience in important roles.
I agree with Essendon @15th. As a bombers fan, i think we need to completely rebuild from scratch and focus on the draft. Im just really worried about our coaching team. Richmond, Essendon, Carlton and Melbourne will all be bottom 7. I hope you pull out this vid and the game by game prediction and see which one is closer at the end of the season.
I reckon Giants Carlton will be in finals and probably Melb and Gold Coast. So really difficult to predict. In your ladder it would be four clubs in your 8 missing out. I'm not convinced about Essendon and reckon they could slip into the bottom 3. Even the Saints could plummet.
Melbourne are a weird one, if Petracca and Oliver return to form and Lever, May, Pickett, Viney, Gawn all stay fit and play 20 plus games then they can make finals, but there’s an awful lot of ifs in that statement.

Great effort again like all your videos up to now . Only positions I would disagree with gold. Coast and Melbourne in the 8 and a hardened Finals team in Brisbane with The inclusion of all there long term injured players and the fabulous draftees will finish on. Top again
I reckon Geelong will drop back and be 6 to 10. Collingwood will improve and have one last roll of the dice. But any injuries to key players and they will really drop away. I think Melbourne should finish in top 8 too, if the players come back committed. The ruck and midfield is critical.
A few big calls there Jesse. A lot of people did this for the season just finished and I don't believe a single person got it right. I think you can be certain that no one will get it right next year either. I don't think anyone would be more surprised than yourself if this prediction turns out to be okay. I think your biggest call here isn't the Pies (I actually agree with you here) but Carlton. I actually reckon the Baggers are as good as any team and could well hold up the cup on Grand Final day. I guess you are about to leave the English winter and come home to sunny Perth. It's going to feel very hot at first.
bloody tough to predict, I have the crows around 10th, less injuries to important players like Murray and filthy, rankine playing some more games. I have the pies in 13th which is a big difference to yours. I won't give you any shit though, genuinely could be like 10 clubs going for those last few spots in finals.
It's completely fair to have the bottom 3 as you've put it. North have everything to prove in simply performing better to win some games and it's understandable to trust in history as the justification to tip NM in the bottom 3 until they show they're otherwise capable of climbing the ladder. And I'm a North supporter so go figure.
I’m predicting the Roos to be flying early. Like in the 8 Judy before the half way mark and a hot line Essendon on in recent times, just fade late. North are still so young. Watch them out off some upset early season if injuries are kind. 100 year with dogs hawks. They’ll Al have good years
Freo also have Shai Bolton, the most naturally talented footballer in the league, He will give the Dockers an explosiveness this side has never had. He can do more with less.
I think West Coast will end up around 12th. Harley Reid will have a full preseason and he is a good barometer of how many games we will win. Added depth of Baker. And a full preseason by Elijah Hewitt who is a new recruit. Owies along with Liam Ryan who needs a full preseason in the forward line to support Allen and Waterman.
I like the optimism and they might finish 12th in other years but there will be a lot of good teams next year. I can’t see them being better than six teams
I think I might be alone in this, but Melbourne to rocket back into the 8 and doggies finishing in the bottom 4. Melbourne having Petracca back is huge, and I think JVR breaks out. As for the doggies, there is absolutely no logic to this, just getting a bad vibe from Whitten oval
I reckon Hawks will drop away before they build up again. Certainly the Eagles are expecting Hawks to drop away and for Carlton to be above them. Hence the picks they swapped in 2025.
Eh, never count the Cats out. Yeah, they've lost Tuohy and Tomahawk (who was really falling off at the end of the season anyway), but they have this annoying tendency to just get it done and be up there in the mix. If Bailey Smith is firing this season he'll be an absolute weapon for them, the Cats will be a nightmare for everyone else if their midfield finds a high gear.
@jgraaay18 Could be right, hopefully his ACL and other injuries haven't damaged him in the long term. Would be amazing if he gets going with Holmes. But other than those two there's not too much depth there in the middle anymore. I reckon they should've re-signed Parfitt to a rookie deal at least.
Heres my Ladder Predictions for 2025: 1. Hawthorn (I'm on the Hok train. They're going to have the scariest backline in the league with the likes of Sicily, Barrass, Battle, Scrimshaw, Impey, and Amon. To those think they over-achieved, think again. 2025 could be the year no Hawks fan will ever forget) 2. Brisbane (Our reigning premiers will be aiming to go back-to-back and I see them most likely to succeed with so many key players returning from injury, Joe Daniher is a big out for them as they can't replace him, but it'll let the lions look for more options in their forward line) 3. Fremantle (This is now their best chance to be known as Flagmantle. Introducing Shai Bolton into the forward line along with Brayshaw, Serong, and Young in the Midfield, and Pearce and Ryan in the Backline is making Freo no doubt their best chance of lifting their first cup in history) 4. Western Bulldogs (We all underestimated Luke Berveridge, forgetting that he is the most successful Bulldogs coach. Introducing Kennedy is gonna turn the Dogs midfield from 100 to 1000. The Bont is going to become the biggest Brownlow contender, and the young forwards (Ugle-Hagen, Darcy, Weightman) are ready to explode) 5. Geelong (Goodbye Tom Hawkins, Hello Bailey Smith. These cats are ready to become what they were in 2022, premiership contenders) 6. Sydney (They were horrible in the 2022 Grand Final, 2024 they were way worse, Horse has called it quits, no Parker, they are gonna be under severe pressure in 2025, but they're just too good to not make finals. Heeney, Warner, and Gulden are building this Midfield that no doubt every team is gonna struggle beating) 7. Collingwood (My beloved Magpies will return to finals and that's a fact. With the inclusion of Dan Houston, Tim Membery, and Harry Perryman, we will become an unstoppable force. The reason I have them 7th is because we have a difficult fixture ahead of us, and Billy Frampton) 8. Adelaide (There's always a team that finishes in the bottom 4 and makes finals the next season. Look at Brisbane, St Kilda, Sydney, Collingwood, GWS, and Hawthorn. The crows plan to take a huge step backwards before making a giant leap forward. Crom fans, let 2025 be your season) 9. Carlton (Even though I hate Carlton so much, they don't deserve to not make finals in 2025, they got great inclusions with Haynes and Smith, and Silvagni coming back from injury. However, they've lost Kennedy and Owies which could hurt the blues next season) 10. St Kilda (They're gonna be my team to watch in 2025. Their defence and forward line look great and if they finally nail their Midfield with the introduction of Jack Macrae, they'll make finals) 11. Gold Coast (Best season in 2024, I think they'll go 1 win better in 2025. They got strong talent in their team, a brilliant coach in Dimma with 3 premierships to his name, and a red shirt. Can't wait for the Suns to realise how bad their rebrand is) 12. Port Adelaide (I feel like I'm underestimating Port and Ken Hinkley after a poor finals performance, but the reason I have them missing finals is that they have too many good players and I feel they'll put their talent to waste. Plus, I don't them in finals after Ken getting into hot water with Ginni and Sicily) 13. GWS (They reviewed the Semi-Final loss WAY TOO LATE (should have been one or two days after the loss). This club now has really deep scars that they're gonna bring into 2025. There's no way I see GWS making finals after choking winning margins in 2 Finals Series. They have lost 3 key players, brought in The Package who's in the twilight of his career, and Adam Kingsley might be haunted by those two finals. They need to take a big step backwards before taking a gaint leap forward back to finals) 14. Essendon (They're bad, but not that bad. They have unbelievable talent and a good coach in Brad Scott, but I feel like they have put some of the pieces in the wrong place, explaining how they missed finals this year) 15. North Melbourne (They have all the elements they need to get out of the bottom two, for a while, and with more experienced players in the team to inspire this young club, they can get out of the bottom 4 in 2026) 16. West Coast (The McQualter era has begun, but I think they'll need one more season to begin flying again) 17. Melbourne (The club has lost its culture and its spirit. Their forward structure is a huge mess. I could see them losing winnable games. No wonder Clays and Trac wanted to leave) 18. Richmond (There's no other place I see the Tigers finishing. However, if they have a healthy list with less injuries, they'll do better than 2024)
I just don't understand how some people have this unfounded expectation of the west coast eagles lol. Graham, Baker and Owies are not superstars. Baker is a good player, the other 2 are below average. Have lost Barrass a superstar, had Darling leave, and Gaff retire. Have had extremely limited draft picks for how poor they've been, Ginbey and Hewett haven't met expectations. Jobe will take a couple of years before he impacts. This best 22 is even so far behind North's now. What are you expecting, Kelly and Reid to be All Australians? Bo Allan to be the next Judd? Cripps, Sheed and Ryan to wind back the clock? Yeo and Mcgovern extremely injured are 32/33.
@pletsas6243 That my friend is why West Coast are the wealthiest club and always pack the stadium. How many Richmond memberships will go in the microwave this season?
Carlton finish the last six weeks with the best of the six weeks having half of its top 22 to pick from this oversight instantly makes this list irrelevant
Back to back is hard especially for a interstate team. I actually have all your outside contenders as the real contenders bar port. Blues hawks dockers dogs giants. Those are the teams to beat for mine. Cats between 7th 13th. Pies the same. Not enough upside happening there. Swans I can’t back as well as port. The ladder will be changing next year.
Collingwood second? Aha. Ahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha! They just missed finals, have the oldest team in the competition and have upgraded their list with two 30 year old players, and you think they're finishing second? What is it with everyone and overrating Collingwood? Their downfall is more predictable than Richmond's, and i thought they were going to give the premiership one last crack in 2023 before sliding in 2024.
I looked at the squad changes from this year to next and decided which squad would improve, based on natural growth and also trades/drafting and came up with this….agreed it’s super hard!! Collingwood Brisbane Fremantle Haw Geelong PA Sydney Adel GWS Carlton Bulldogs GC NM Essendon Melb Stk WC Richmond
Since 2018 when the WCE beat the Pies in the GF, Tigers (2020), Dees (2021), Cats (2022) & Pies (2023) have all won using a basic principle of either beating the reigning premiers or the Cats, backing it up, belting the GC Suns, backing it up, finishing top 3 and winning in that same year. The following year, most have struggled to beat the GC Suns and the natural slide of these sides can be seen by using this method. Year 1 (after GF has been won/lost, etc). Reigning Premiers next season finish 2-12th, runners-up 3rd-8th. Year 2 Premiers 3rd-12th, R/Up 1st-12th. Year 3 Premiers 7th-17th, R/Up 7th-17th. Year 4 Premiers 7th-17th, R/Up 4th - 17th. Year 5 Premiers 8th-18th, R/Up 1st-12th. 2024 Early Prediction for me (I'm a Pies supporter) was Pies were entitled to finish 2nd-12th, Lions 3rd-8th. Cats based on 2 GF's (2020 & 2022) were entitled to finish 7th-17th & 3rd -12th. Dees & Dogs Year 3. Dees 7th-17th, Dogs 7th-17th. Season 2025 Pies(2023) 3rd-12th, Lions (2023)1st -12th & (2024) 3rd-12th, Cats (2020) 1st-12th & (2022) 7th-17th, Swans (2022) 7th-17th & (2024) 3rd-8th, Dees (2021) 7th-17th, Dogs (2021) 4th-17th, Tigers (2020) 8th-18th. This a system of rating Premiers & Runners-Up only. Year 3 can be a tricky year for both sides who win the GF or come runners-up as they can slide down the ladder quite easily...
Here are my current ladder predictions: (Just my Opinion) 1. Brisbane 2. GWS 3. Geelong 4. Hawthorn 5. Collingwood 6. Sydney 7. Carlton 8. Bulldogs 9. Port Adelaide 10. Fremantle 11. Adelaide 12. Gold Coast 13. St Kilda 14. Essendon 15. Melbourne 16. North Melbourne 17. West Coast 18. Richmond

Eagles reckon Calrton will finish above Hawks. Hence the trade done during draft period for 2025 picks.
Carltons list is one of the best. Their gameplay on the other hand is utter trash.
bloody tough to predict, I have the crows around 10th, less injuries to important players like Murray and filthy, rankine playing some more games.
Geelong top 2,or minor premiers ,making it to the grand final, lions, gws, freo, blues top 6 teams
Dogs top 4 lock
Collingwood and Geelong flag contenders is crazy. Will be amazed if the pies make the 8 and Geelong will sneak in thanks to the green team
Maybe I’m biased but surely the blues if injury free will make the 8, especially with the draw they got given.
If the roos can’t lift off bottom two it might be the end for us
I’m predicting the Roos to be flying early.
Sydney are flag contenders but not top 4? How can one be on the jedi council and not be granted the rank of master?
Pies are open window for some time yet. It’s pure fantasy to think otherwise.
Do we really think Port are going to be better than Sydney?
How can Geelong be flag contenders? They'll drop to final aspirants I reckon.
Collingwood list is too old. They won’t last.
Heres my Ladder Predictions for 2025:
1. Hawthorn (I'm on the Hok train. They're going to have the scariest backline in the league with the likes of Sicily, Barrass, Battle, Scrimshaw, Impey, and Amon. To those think they over-achieved, think again. 2025 could be the year no Hawks fan will ever forget)
2. Brisbane (Our reigning premiers will be aiming to go back-to-back and I see them most likely to succeed with so many key players returning from injury, Joe Daniher is a big out for them as they can't replace him, but it'll let the lions look for more options in their forward line)
3. Fremantle (This is now their best chance to be known as Flagmantle. Introducing Shai Bolton into the forward line along with Brayshaw, Serong, and Young in the Midfield, and Pearce and Ryan in the Backline is making Freo no doubt their best chance of lifting their first cup in history)
4. Western Bulldogs (We all underestimated Luke Berveridge, forgetting that he is the most successful Bulldogs coach. Introducing Kennedy is gonna turn the Dogs midfield from 100 to 1000. The Bont is going to become the biggest Brownlow contender, and the young forwards (Ugle-Hagen, Darcy, Weightman) are ready to explode)
5. Geelong (Goodbye Tom Hawkins, Hello Bailey Smith. These cats are ready to become what they were in 2022, premiership contenders)
6. Sydney (They were horrible in the 2022 Grand Final, 2024 they were way worse, Horse has called it quits, no Parker, they are gonna be under severe pressure in 2025, but they're just too good to not make finals. Heeney, Warner, and Gulden are building this Midfield that no doubt every team is gonna struggle beating)
7. Collingwood (My beloved Magpies will return to finals and that's a fact. With the inclusion of Dan Houston, Tim Membery, and Harry Perryman, we will become an unstoppable force. The reason I have them 7th is because we have a difficult fixture ahead of us, and Billy Frampton)
8. Adelaide (There's always a team that finishes in the bottom 4 and makes finals the next season. Look at Brisbane, St Kilda, Sydney, Collingwood, GWS, and Hawthorn. The crows plan to take a huge step backwards before making a giant leap forward. Crom fans, let 2025 be your season)
9. Carlton (Even though I hate Carlton so much, they don't deserve to not make finals in 2025, they got great inclusions with Haynes and Smith, and Silvagni coming back from injury. However, they've lost Kennedy and Owies which could hurt the blues next season)
10. St Kilda (They're gonna be my team to watch in 2025. Their defence and forward line look great and if they finally nail their Midfield with the introduction of Jack Macrae, they'll make finals)
11. Gold Coast (Best season in 2024, I think they'll go 1 win better in 2025. They got strong talent in their team, a brilliant coach in Dimma with 3 premierships to his name, and a red shirt. Can't wait for the Suns to realise how bad their rebrand is)
12. Port Adelaide (I feel like I'm underestimating Port and Ken Hinkley after a poor finals performance, but the reason I have them missing finals is that they have too many good players and I feel they'll put their talent to waste. Plus, I don't them in finals after Ken getting into hot water with Ginni and Sicily)
13. They need to take a big step backwards before taking a gaint leap forward back to finals)
14. Essendon (They're bad, but not that bad. They have unbelievable talent and a good coach in Brad Scott, but I feel like they have put some of the pieces in the wrong place, explaining how they missed finals this year)
15. North Melbourne (They have all the elements they need to get out of the bottom two, for a while, and with more experienced players in the team to inspire this young club, they can get out of the bottom 4 in 2026)
16. West Coast (The McQualter era has begun, but I think they'll need one more season to begin flying again)
17. Melbourne (The club has lost its culture and its spirit. Their forward structure is a huge mess. I could see them losing winnable games. No wonder Clays and Trac wanted to leave)
18. Richmond (There's no other place I see the Tigers finishing. However, if they have a healthy list with less injuries, they'll do better than 2024)
Placing gws at 13th is crazy
Hawks will have second year blues
i fully expect freo st start hot and crumble and fall out of the 8
If the crom get 14th again im going to give up
I can’t see Geelong making top 4
You're wrong about West Coast and I question whether you are a Eagles supporter?
Come on. Melbourne top 3
I think eagles would be finish 12th place
carlton and crows way too low
I’m not even gonna mention Carlton, I’m just gonna save the video
60 - 0
@ 19 injuries
Dan Houston should make them better 😌
Suns and hawks big years

Swans at 8th! No way!
I've got Collingwood, Geelong, Brisbane and Hawks all going backwards and not finishing top 6
Richmond has a better chance finishing in the top 2 than Collingwood...
Carlton to miss finals? If that happens Voss is gone.
Carlton 12th? 😂😂 laughable
60 - 0 is laughable
You’re right they should be lower 😂
I’m thinking the dogs take 15th
Carlton finish the last six weeks with the best of the six weeks having half of its top 22 to pick from this oversight instantly makes this list irrelevant
🤣🤣🤣 freo and geelong that high is mad .. this guy is high 😂
Freo got 11 or 12 home games ,geelong got 10 home games both can finish easily in the top 4
@ how’d that go for them this year
@@blairdowker6036 geelong season was gone good as ,we are talking about next season
Zero chance crows are that low
Pies 2nd?…lol OK i know it’s not April and it’s not the 80’s anymore…R U HIGH!? lol
Sorry how did i miss this…. Collingwood 2nd- ur crazy, i like you but ur crazy
Carlton and Geelong to miss finals Collingwood top 4
Stick just watching the games as assertions on who will make just dont hold up🤔😩🥊
Pies wont be in the top 2 ,rather lions ,gws, blues or freo
Pies, lions, port dogs won’t make 8
Blues will finish top
Bulldogs wayyyyy overrated dude. Hawks will come off last years high
I looked at the squad changes from this year to next and decided which squad would improve, based on natural growth and also trades/drafting and came up with this….agreed it’s super hard!!
Collingwood
Brisbane
Fremantle
Haw
Geelong
PA
Sydney
Adel
GWS
Carlton
Bulldogs
GC
NM
Essendon
Melb
Stk
WC
Richmond
🤣This prediction is laughable.

No way Essendon finish 15th. Not making finals but knocking on the door.
Right, Essendon 16th
Essendon have the pieces, they're just in the wrong places
Correct mate, I think 15th is too high as well :}
