I really love the new carbine and it might become my new favourite weapon. As an sparks enjoyer this weapon feels like an straight upgrade and i love the Animations for it (also the ironsight feels just right for me). So overall i'm a big fan and the price is insanly low for what the weapon offers (sure it isnt the best weapon, but its super worth for that price)
@Neenoh I know that, like me, the martini-Henry is one of your favorite rifles, but I have yet to see anyone use/review the martini with its new high velocity ammo. Have you tried it yet, and if so, what are your thoughts on it?
They spent all that time nerfing tools trying to push players to bring specialized equipment like melee weapons or melee attachments and reduce environmental spawns only to introduce the spear the next update... I don't understand how they thought giving everyone a pocket crossbow bolt that one shots to limbs was a good idea. Okay sure, but it's way too fast and it should do rending damage like bolts and arrows and only one shot to the chest when thrown...
I remember using the Carbine loooooong before Hunt. Red Dead 2 and Fistful of Frags were the two other games I played that had it, so Hunt bringing that and the oilfields brought me some good nostalgia from the Shootout series 2:19 Beware the dog with no bark, for he has the greatest bite

One - cheers for the vid! Loving this update. Two - a 145 dmg repeater for $70 with that many rounds feels pretty fucked up good. Haven't encountered it a lot oddly.
Its solid in most aspects, but its medium so it has pretty strong damage drop off and the bullet speed is very slow(but if youre used to using the vetterli silencer, it feels fine). Slap FMJ on that thing cus the speed is barely affected since its already slow, and it's really, really good if you're decent at leading. Best combo'd with something to help you super close range though, it doesn't fire fast enough to deal with most threats that close. I enjoy quartermaster rival shorty, bow, or a lemat/haymaker. Something with instant stopping power to keep them mid-range. It really suffers at long range and very close range, so keeping them in the sweet spot is key.
i wish they made a full solo hunt mode cause playing duos dealing with a sniping solo is annoying enough especially when they have a silence weapon and when i see this its like seems fun but i dont wanna lose and have to repurchase everything

I don't think it was necro, I think it was just a normal revive. It makes a sound like someone is bandaging, but if someone's necro-ing and nearby you can hear their dark sight.
because it's cool bro. Why do people always want to find some niche for a gun. It's okey that some weapons are simillar. They sound difffrent, the sights are diffrent, the look difrent, and that's good enough

It's aight if you stay in the woods but going into any compound means fighting full size shotguns and quartermastered, giga buffed handcannons, so.......... just play shotgun like the rest of the playerbase right now.
Same people who approved making the Uppercut 414 bucks while the Haymaker is only 340. Haymaker is better than the Uppercut in every conceivable way, and it taking up two slots is not a nerf in any way considering it has more velocity than most rifles.
Well, it has an abysmal muzzle velocity and since it is only medium ammo it loses that damage over distance quite quickly, also very bad iron sight But yeah, in close to medium range battles it can hit pretty hard.
@@Stheles I really think it only shines at medium range, while the fire rate can save you in close range fights, any shotgun will dump you. You have to rely on a lot of luck to win against levering or fanning, but that is definitely plausible over a shotgun.
I'm still not 100% used to the 1865 Carbine so you will see a lot of bow and spear action lol. What is everyone's thoughts on the new Carbine?

For me, it's the quarry area. Everywhere else on the map is fine

You can animation cancel the reload by quite a bit. You don't need to put the rod back in.
