- LEGO ran a poll to decide which Brickheadz should be number 150! Star Wars won the vote and Jar-Jar was the most requested character. Why do exactly what the fans want when you can do something else! And so we have the 40539 Ahsoka Tano Brickheadz. The first LEGO Star Wars Brickheadz based off the prequels and specifically The Clone Wars in this case! A really great pickup for $10 and I hope to see a Darth Maul to pair with her in the future.

people honestly probably just voted randomly because they knew LEGO would do whatever they wanted no matter what the vote was.
So Ryan told his fans to vote for Jar-Jar, thought that he would win the whole time, and when Jar-Jar didn't win made it seem like he did win but Lego picked Ahsoka instead?
Agreed I don’t think anyone wanted jar jar and do we know what character had the most votes like ahsoka could have had the most votes but he thought jar jar would win

Wow, Ahsoka being the 150th BrickHeadz feels so monumental. Ahsoka has always been my favourite Star Wars character, so I'm definitely gonna pick this one up! 💗

While I do agree that Jar Jar would have been better, I think with the relevancy of the clone wars, from a marketing standpoint Ashoka was the best option.
We're really just gonna assume the majority of people wanted Jar-Jar just because this part of the community did, huh.
Apparently lol. Ryan literally said in another comment on this thread "i told my viewers to vote for jar jar and no other youtuber told their viewers to vote for something else so it is impossible for jar jar to have lost." Which is honestly so conceited. I mean 1st off: the poll results were released and ashoka won with 38% of the vote. 2nd of all: just because ryan tells people to vote for something doesnt mean his viewers will vote for that character as we have minds of our own. Crazy that he actually thinks this way

@@StarForgedTCG I agree with the sentiment I find it highly unlikely that Jar Jar had a plurality of votes but I can’t find that statistic. I think the main issue is that Ryan feels that people will follow him blindly. People didn’t vote for the Gunship just because of him. Most voted for the Gunship because it was the best choice. Ryan may have pushed so over the edge but it was pretty sure bet. People got behind him because they already wanted that. Many of even Ryan’s fans don’t like Jar Jar (hell I don’t think Ryan does) so they probably would not have listened about putting Jar Jar. Also where did you source that Ashoka statistic.

@@Sahd079 agreed, and it sucked that so many listened to him for the gunship. We already had a frw minifig scale gunships. A U.C.S nebula b frigate wouldve been the best u.c.s set out of the 3 in the poll
Honestly, I’m not complaining, I think this is way better than a Jar Jar brickheadz.

Does Lego show the voting results for these things? I think it would clear up a lot of confusion if they just showed the voting results.
Literally could potentially save them a lot of hate but I think the fact they don't says it itself.
How do you 'know' Jar Jar won the vote? It was a poll with a lot of people, most of whom would not vote for Jar Jar if they were just choosing on their own. Ashoka is a very popular character that I can quite easily imagine would be more voted for, so I'm not at all surprised Jar Jar lost. I seriously like Jar Jar and would have bought it gladly, but how many others can say the same compared to those who will buy Ahsoka? Unless there're some actual vote counts available out there somewhere, I don't see how anyone can claim any character except Ahsoka won the vote. Similarly to the Gunship figures, I don't think TLG is actively trying to upset people, I just think they're incompetent and most people voted for "a Jedi Knight" or "a clone" and instead of being sensible and making correct clone pilots we got a commander that doubles as one. It's not that P. II Cody and Jedi Bob won the vote and TLG decided to screw us over, it's that they're fairly niche outside the LSW community and a lot of voters either didn't get the memo or don't know about them or frankly don't care. I truly believe you, the people that watch your videos and myself are in the small minority compared to casual LEGO fans who got an email about a vote and just picked a ship they liked and some characters they could remember without appreciating how expensive / big / detailed a UCS set would be. Anyway, a long time ago now my point was that I'm not convinced Jar Jar won the vote.
Still they messed up the UCS gunship. I wished Jar Jar will still be made for next year as well as darth maul. They are all great characters.

This set looks fantastic and I'm delighted. I really don't understand your intense negativity over it. To the point of nitpicking the instruction manual? I'm glad it wasn't Jar-Jar, and so are most people.
Dude he gave it a 9.5 out of 10, he liked the set a lot. He always nitpicks, sometimes it cracks me up, other times I just think meh; it's a review channel and he pulls things apart and focuses on stuff he finds interesting, it is his channel after all !. Ahsoka definitely deserved the win and this is a great Brickheadz, but Jar Jar is also iconic and I would eventually like him in Brickheadz.

And you base this claim on what? Nah, mate. Sorry but I'm sure they wouldn't. I remember reading the comments and even among your most ardent fanbase many people said they'd be voting for Star Wars but NOT for Jar Jar.
Does that mean Ahsoka got more votes? I also doubt it. But I'm sure there were other characters with more votes in, including Palpatine, Anakin, Padme, Maul etc.

I really wish in the UK brickheadz were easier to pick up other than LEGO store/online the only one we can get is the Mando one I’ve missed so many cool ones because they just aren’t convenient to just impulse buy

Ryan I love you but there’s no way “most” people said Jar-Jar. There are Lego Star Wars fans that exist outside of your sphere of influence. Most people didn’t want a meme for a set. I think you severely overestimate how many people actually would vote for Jar-Jar, especially said you specifically said in an earlier video that you didn’t care that Jar-Jar didn’t win. It feels like your making up a problem out of nothing as an excuse to be mad at Lego.

Wasn't going to be Jar-Jar anyway as i'm sure he's a hated character so they made a brickhead that tied into the hype of S7 makes sense sale wise as that was the popular content but a two pack of her and Maul would have been a whole lot better and more deserving of a 150th brickheadz hope we do get a Jar-Jar probably more so with them making the UCS Landspeeder so more meme sets

People just need to stop voting for these things. It seems the only thing lego dtar wars can do consistently, is put up polls of what fans want, and then proceed to disregard them entirely.
That being said, ahsoka is my favorite character so no complaints from me.
