In this video I will be reviewing and telling you why I think no one respects the RT hemi , and why has dodge not upgraded the power on the rt hemi.
I will tell you why I think the rt hemi motor is not popular like it use to be. I will talk about how the car community looks down on 5.7 owners. We will also talk about the pros and cons of owning a rt hemi. I think the 2023 dodge charger rt hemi is a good buy. the 2023 dodge charger is the perfect entry muscle car for new muscle car owners.

6:45 - 7:10 is what I needed to hear bro! Was really having second thoughts on the brandnew R/T that I just bought a week ago. Its the last 2022 year model that my local dealership had. OTD price was $47,150 for 2022 Charger R/T Plus Package, Blacktop Package and Nav Package. MSRP was $49,800.
Before I bought the brandnew R/T, I found a used 2018 Scat with 40k miles on it, 1 owner, for $42k. A lot of people said I should've went with the used Scat. Up until this day, I'm still thinking if I made the wrong decision of buying the new RT instead of the used Scat.. I live in Los Angeles, CA. @Tlites World
You made the right decision my friend I owned both and I promise you the scatpack was a little faster but nothing ungodly, plus a few simple mods and you can make almost as much power, but you’ll never use that power most likely, so the rt is just as good as a scatpack plus you can supercharge you rt and get less problems if any the scatpack is pretty much maxed out
@@tlitesworld this really helps especially coming from a person who owned both. I wanted the piece of mind of getting a brand new one but felt I was missing out on the extra hp that the scat offered. But honestly, driving in California, I don't think Im gonna be able to squeeze out 485hp from the scat. Even the freeway's are hella traffic here during the day. If I were to buy a charger 2-3 years ago, I would've definitely went with the Scat as it was a lot cheaper. The price of a brand new R/T is the price of a Scat Pack 2-3 years ago which is crazy to me. If you don't mind me asking, why did you sell your R/T and got the Scat Pack? What was the main reason(s), just wanna know since you owned both..
Let me assure you. I have driven both too and you didn’t make a mistake. The scat pack is just a marketing move. It’s a little faster than the rt but not night and day.I would take a new rt over a used scatpack. Don’t let anyone else tell you different
U made the right choice. Intake, headers, cat back exhaust and you can safely run a Procharger, Edelbrock SC, the supercharger from the Hellcat (as long as you get the adapter kit), or twin turbos if you want -- and you will be smoking Scat Packs while safely running 7 or 8 PSI. Oh, and u gotta get either an email tune or have your mechanic tune it after you get them headers and exhaust. With just those, the CAI and an intake & 87mm TB, you will tell a big diff!Get you sum forged internals, then u can turn that boost up and sky is the limit. The Scats ain't built for boost, unless u forge internals. So enjoy that V8, it's quick enough...and if u wanna go faster, go w/the mods I mentioned!

Yeah rts a very sought after cars for thieves, the love a hemi powered cars , and No dodge has not completely fixed the weak security system yet. Best to buy you a aftermarket security system

You can use regular in a rt but I would use premium

It’s just a from snow sitting on the rotors one stop and that’s gone. It’s actually common

That’s just because snow set on it for a while and it has been driven. One stop will knock it right off my friend, believe me they are not rusty

To get to 450-500hp crank in this car you can go two routes. Either boosted or N/A. Long tube headers, hellcat throttle body or ported 392 TB, CAI with heat shield, Exhaust, 392 exhaust manifold or holly sniper fab( heard different options on this one), really good tune, upgraded cam(you want one that has a good power band), if you have this in your area unlike me E85 🤟🏽 All theoretical. Ps will need new pcm with 2015+ mopar for tuning and such so yea

I have a 2022 charger rt. Same color, I lowered it with eibach springs. Get compliments on it all the time. sticker price was $42k. Yeah respect the 5.7, v8s are a dying breed

U can tune and build an RT too be definitely faster than a scat… been done many times
Definitely can be built to eat scats
And it’ll cost you more than just buying a scat after parts and labor, plenty of videos have been done on this exact topic…
@@QuinLIVE I agree my friend, but some people don’t know so they end up buying a scatpack, which is a great car, but you can get a rt with a few mods and destroy scatpacks
@@tlitesworld you could apply that to anything though even a Toyota Camry. I just watched a RT lose to a mustang ecoboost on instagram they’re just too heavy and slow stock then when you start investing the amount needed for parts and labor to make them fast it begs the question “why didn’t I just get a scat?”

Scat pack is a car for people who want immediate power and torque. The charger rt has a feature where EVERY BOLT ON COUNTS, you cant mod a scat pack if everything is already modded to produce so much power, the rt has so much headroom, and a lot of people need to remember that the 2022, and 2023 rt charger actually has 395hp and 410ftlbs of torque. They put 370 to make the scat pack price attractive. The rt puts the same mount of power the ram 1500 has!

It just depends on your preference if you like two-door coupe’s challenger if you want some four-door space charger it’s just whatever style you like both go pretty much the same speed same 0 to 60 so everything is pretty much the same

They sure do, I’m being patient until either summer time or after summer get the R/T with the Daytona package. For now I’m still driving my V6 Charger, it’s over 300,000 miles and still going strong lol.

It’s because it hasn’t been moved in a while all cars do this even your car. One stop and the rust we be gone
