The beat that Stormzy used for Disappointed is pretty significant, as that beat was from the Headie One and RV song "Know Better", and if you know about the "Uni Incident" and the Snapchat stuff, you realise how deep this beef is.

for context on the name of the song: One of stormzy's nicknames is "wicked skengman" and he has a series of freestyles he has done with that as the name(you should react to wicked skengman 3 and wicked skengman 4 they are great)
I think Wiley’s whole point was that stormzy used grime as a platform to build himself then left to do more pop and charting music laving the grime genre and it’s artists as opposed to bringing grime with him and sees it as big disrespect because Wiley pioneered the genre of grime
which is hypocritical as fuck, because Wiley put out some absolute trash that was very poppy and *not* Grime in an attempt to chase success

You pretty much got most of them. Here's what you may have missed On Wiley, To "wring your neck" means choke someone out. Stormzy really brought it out on the I'm chill and don't care vibe. While sipping his coffee and having a smoke. The lines; "Old man, you apprentice", that was a Star Wars bar as if to say despite Wiley's experience he doesnt hold a candle to him, then calling on tropes like crack, he's saying he doesnt like his content and considers him irrelevant, then goes on about how his whole family are failures. He also touched on beef with Ja/Wiley as if Wiley was chasing clout. Stormzy also welcomed the challenge saying to "hit hard" like he's just brushing off all the attacks.
Stormzy had the benefit of going 2nd but his cadence won it for me. The whole "Who are you?" and "was that it?" vibe was too strong, as he was not mad, just disappointed. Video was good at portraying it too.
Good stuff all round though
i hope you check out chips whole scenario before stormzy with bugzy and everyone else was deffo a highlight moment for the scene big up to you scru
P Money VS Dot rotten is a much much better clash, 3/4 disses either all very direct with insane bars from both sides

I’m an ‘older’ fan - I was already 20ish when I first heard Wiley, Dizzee, Skepta, Kano, Ghetts, Giggs, Chip etc and had followed garage before that - however, ask most of my friends who their favourite rapper is and they’ll all say either Eminem or Stormzy! Lol!
This was a clash of ages, Wiley is coming from the Old School when grime clashes were in person in underground basements or venues like a cypher and 2 guys would go back to back 16 bars each on a grime tune so even though the bars might be surface level, things like delivery, stage presence and how you flow on the beat could drive a crowd wild and win you the clash. Stormzy is approaching this from the perspective of a traditional diss track where the bars are most important. Wiley is known for his flows, his flows are crazy sick but his lyrical content isn't necessarily top tier from a battle rapping perspective. This is what made judging this odd because grime people that know OG grime clashes would see Wiley's perspective and respect it but also see the 'diss track' perspective along with the majority of people who don't know Grime and think Stormzy bodied him. Wiley also has a tendency to warm up over rounds, again just like in a live clash that might go on for a large number of rounds, man would save flows and energy for a beat that it gels so well with the symbiosis could force song rewinds / reloads and crowd reaction. For an example of what i'm talking about, watch Don't Flop Grime Clashes on TH-cam, a particularly good one was a 2v2, Dialect and Double L vs Villain and Izzie Gibs. You'll notice how lot of times, they're just flowing and the bars are surface level or soft jokes but they still hit hard.

If only you the background behind the beat choice and visuals of stormzy's diss track. Basically, another Uk rapper got filmed getting ran up on at a university, and within 24 hours he made an iconic track called "Know better" using this beat and the same style of visual, turning the moment he got caught lacking into a win. Stormzy paying homage to that track by using the beat and replying to wiley within 24 hours, which is a subtle diss in itself.
I wish this would guide Scru towards the originator of all the commotion around the time this beef started, DOT ROTTEN came outta nowhere dissin the whole industry and grime current state, feel like Scru would rate DOT freestyles, clashes and riddims but he aint gettin love from the scene. Yall can agree the PMoney clash is worth checking but ya wont step out of that.
On a different note Wiley is worth checking outside this beef, man like Tha Godfather deserves full attention (this beef wasnt significant at all, the Skepta disses were funnier and the back n forth more entertaining. Stormz is completely boring and overrated)
