Nice thing about Nikon is it still shoots 14bit color depth even in electronic shutter at the cost of frame rate. This includes the original z6, z7, z8 and z9. I'm not sure about the apc cameras.
Your all locations are just outstanding,,,,, your models are so talented, obviously you are talented toooooo much , your gears are so capable too , all aspects for a outstanding photos is with you , you are masterpiece
Have been watching from the time you expanded borders of the images to this .. the edits are always great and wow the colours are too good after the edit.. the ability to inspire others maybe one of the reasons why you are one of the Canon ambassadors .. keep rocking and keep them coming :)
I am not usually a fan of model shoots, however this shoot, this location is an absolute wonderful set of images. I wonder if Gavin Hardcastle or Thomas Heaton where they would be waiting for the models to move out the way to shoot landscape, lol ! One thing I would like to have seen is slow shutter shots for silky smooth water fall with the models posing. I know Irene had told them to slowly move, however the silky smooth water flow would have given a very dreamy composition. Great work Irene.....
WHy do I like the Raw better on the @6:17 mark? Don't get me wrong the edited goes hard. But for some crazy reason You WENT WONDER WOMAN on the Raw picture. OMG🔥🔥🔥
Always love your work, I have two questions 1. Was it possible to slow the shutter to get a little bit of motion blur from the water falls? 2. I noticed water hitting the camera and lens, any damage?
Beautiful images. I always have problems with natural light. In my pictures the contrast is always too high between the model and the sky. Its often either color in the sky or fine details in the model. That's why I usually prefere controlling my light. But practice makes perfect :-)
That’s why i usually avoid skies or shoot really late in the evening or super early in the morning, otherwise you’ll need something to balance it out, flash, reflector etc
I had the same issues when shooting in places like that. When I begun to watch this video I thought "Why doesn't she use an off camera light?" Maybe because it was too wet all around to dare. You made a nice job on post, as always, anyway.
I don’t like using flash outdoors to fill shadows, its just not my style, plus I hate moving it around during the shoot, making sure it doesn’t fall , its not for me
I noticed you are changing the aspect ratio of your images in post, is that to mimic a medium format look? Seems like a lot of photographers are switching to medium format. For super high contrast scenes like this you just can't beat the latitude in a Fuji GFX file. That would be my choice for this type of a shoot. I'm going to get the GFX 100Sii soon. Has about .75 of a stop more dynamic range than the R5 which would totally make the difference here above and beyond switching to mechanical shutter. I just looked it up on photons to photos website looks like you lose 1.41 stops of dynamic range in electronic shutter on the R5. Wild! I shot an R5 for a long time and didn't realize that.
@@IreneRudnyk Any plans to try medium format? Seems like it would suit your image preferences! I'm thinking it's going to suit what I care about as a photographer better. I hear the autofocus on the GFX100ii and 100Siii is now almost as good as full frame.
Only Canon has 12 bit with electronic shutter, another problem, DR is more than 2 stops worse. It's only on Canon, don't know why. All Canons except R3. Also i think you could get rolling shutter, but while all photos are vertical, we don't see it or hardly can see.
The camera has both mechanical and electrical shutter. Mechanical shutter is a physical barrier in front of the sensor, while electrical shutter is is just "Closing" it electronically, no mechanical moving parts.
@@IreneRudnyk TBH, I'm a bit surprised that an experienced photographer would use a camera in "default" settings and/or not know the difference. BTW, as a portrait photographer, that uses flash or continues light and fast lenses - all these factors affect your images from banding - bokeh. Yes - Anthony was correct in DR being affected as well. But, this should not have had such a great impact on your ability the adjust the exposure on this image.
It does show that her foot that you replaces is wrong. It's literally looking like a right foot on a left limb, the toes are giving it away. Should have found a way to flip it or conceal it
Its me or I see at minute 1.34 something totally different compared to minute 1.45: an overcooked picture, the models looks like tanned when they aren´t, even the green leaves are bad... the skin color is totally off.
Irene always finds the best models.
not to mention she make a great model, herself...
Glad we sorted that out! Mechanical shutter is where it's at!
Nice thing about Nikon is it still shoots 14bit color depth even in electronic shutter at the cost of frame rate. This includes the original z6, z7, z8 and z9. I'm not sure about the apc cameras.
Hey Anthony, is it 14 bit for elect. first curtain also?
Loved the image at 10:05. The lines, colors, model! Just the overall composition. ♥️ Good job all in all.
Too bad the photoshopped foot has the big toe on the outside 😅😅
Irene you're a most talented editorial photographer. Your images are gorgeous. Irene you are an amazing photographer and artist.
Water and waterfall shootings make for the best photo settings, well done, Irene like your videos.

Beautiful Irene! Could you do an updated "What's in my Camera Bag" video for regular shoots as well as travel/international purposes? Thank you!
wow!!! How do you handle green color cast in those jungle photoshoots?
You can't go wrong with a good waterfall shoot. I just did one about a week ago. 😄👍🏽 Amazing work as always Irene! 🔥📸

The edited foot cracked me up sooooo hard 😂 two right feet 😂
😂😂😂😭😭😭
Could you show in a video how you retouched this pictures? LR/Photoshop? I find your pictures so great!
Amazing shoot as always.
Beautiful photos! But I've noticed that you changed the left foot with the right one ;)
😭😭😭😭 lol
Beautiful edits! I will say that I noticed the big toe on the outside of the foot; two right feet. Other than that? Gorgeous!
Молодец раз за тебя что можешь по всему миру фоткать 👌
Bravo!
Great info about ES and MS, glad to learn something new again in your vlog my idol ^_^

electronic shutter can also impact bokeh quality at some shutter speeds
So interesting!
талантище👍🏻
Were the edited photos stretched wider vs the RAWs? Or maybe it just happened when they were added to the video.
They are edited wider
Do you mind a editing tutorial of this?
I hope i can meet u one day when u're still in Indonesia
Please do an R10 shoot please Irene
Возле водопадов надо было поснимать на длинной выдержке. Надо было взять штатив, сделать длинную выдержку и сказать чтоб модели не двигались.
Looks tacky, not my style
Was the video recorded in clog?
No, it’s just regular footage
Raw image to practice

so Mechanical shutter gives better quality images than Electronic shutter? 🤔
Depends on your camera, on my R5 yes
No slow shutter shots?
Personally, it’s not my style
EOS R5ii eh 🤔
lol it’s was a joke
Sorry, what's mechanical shutter and electrical shutter please? I've never heard this 😮

oh no, does she have two right feet?

I'm curious, how do you fund this shoot in Bali?
You are funding it by watching it:)
Beautiful models, but I would still choose Irene instead.
Btw, it's nice that you know Ukrainian still:)
Of course:) i lived in Ukraine till I was 18
Так мило звучить українська у відео 😊
New Subscribers here❤️ I want to try photography. I have a borrowed DSLR cam 650D
Why would you be using electronic shutter when mechanical shutter is available on your camera...
Honestly never thought about it, I think it’s electronic by default
@@IreneRudnyk TBH, I'm a bit surprised that an experienced photographer would use a camera in "default" settings and/or not know the difference. Why don't you use flash or reflectors? I believe his photoshoot needed more light on the model's eyes.
Personally I’m don’t like that look + it’s not very practical to use tripods, flashes, modifiers in location like this
why you dont color grade your videos
First job requirement for models: Be 200% waterproof, and have antifreeze in the blood.
oh no it's a right foot LMAO
we need editing video
But now she has two right feet at @10:41 nooooooo :/
Nooooo😂😂

There is always a concern, but I’m more concerned about getting those amazing shots
