- Updating a song I had covered with lyrics (not my voice then) years ago. This is a combination of the album and "The Tube" live versions.
Gear used.
Left upper: Emu Emax ("A brief period" is my own voice overprocessed. Toms and "plink" sound are original, as well as the bass on the upper octaves. Solo sound is a sampled DX7).
Lower: Emu Emax II.
Right: Roland Promars.
Backtrack previously recorded on Pro Tools.

This sounds like a movie soundtrack song without the vocals. Depeche Mode really had an amazing gift
I’ve always thought this is very influenced by the Halloween sound track .still one of my favourite depeche songs .

Gracias, Orión. Es verdad que hay que estar atento para recordar dónde está cada grupo de sonidos. El propio Alan en el vídeo demostrativo del Emax en el 101 decía que veces se olvidaba de dónde estaba cada sample. Tengo un vídeo con tres Emax (Stories of Old th-cam.com/video/hs6VsuEX9qo/w-d-xo.html ); ahí tuve que ejercitar la memoria visual :)
@@DX5 desde luego que hay que estar atento, uno de los teclistas de Talk Talk en un directo del 86 tenía etiquetas pegadas debajo de las teclas. Ya veo que no es tu caso, vi el vídeo de los tres Emax
