I'd much rather eat a piece of Maltese bread with tomatoes and olive oil than have a meal at Peter's house. What a thoroughly obnoxious individual. Jane is so sweet and so very generous in her scoring. I would have given him a 1 for his atrocious behaviour.

In absolute fairness and with total honesty, the ending of this Come Dine With Me episode is the greatest thing I've ever witnessed on British television.
This type of personality is cultivated from a deluded mother telling her son how great he is his whole life........he then finds out later in life she lied.

What editing did was highlight how deluded he is by putting his grandiose expectations of how he thought the food was up against the reality of what the others thought which obviously doesn't cast him in the light he was expecting or hoping for. He acted overly pompous but didn't deliver the goods and that's why he was angry by how the editing made him look. But he signed the contract so it's on him.

Arlene could be, but I've retired East to Thailand and now I weigh more than I did in when I was still living in the UK. Never saw a fat Thai when I first visited Thailand in 1985, but now there are loads of fat Thais, including many obese kids. My guess is it's the proliferation of Western food outlets that are to blame, MacD's, KFC, Pizza Hut, etc.
David Kent yes, I am so shocked to see amount of men and younger men (I know women are also to blame )with big bellies when I travel to western counties, unfortunately it starting to happen in Brazil because of the western eating habits and diet that have influenced the people here in Rio 🇧🇷 Thailand has also caught onto the western world of fast food 🥘
I hope for his sake that Peter's self-employed. If not, he might have been for the chop when his boss heard about this mega tantrum. CDWM can lead to your downfall overnight!

Awe, Jane was literally the only one that judge you fairly. Everyone judged based on feelings. Jane is the only one who based her score on the food. The rest based it on less food and more on feelings you gave.
And ... to add the reason why he was marked down was his insulting comments involving the other two contestants - all HIS doing, and he either couldn't or wouldn't see that. Grandiose personality who shifts the blame to others then plays the victim what type of person does that remind you of?
