The Apple M1 is a compelling computer chip that stands out for its unique design and versatility. It has generated a storm in the tech community by overthrowing almost every other chip in the same price range in terms of its performance. Also, everyone's been bragging about its ability to stay cool under heavy loads.
Having used the Mac Mini for the past month now, I finally managed to get it to 100ºC with an ultra-heavy strenuous workflow involving Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion and Adobe Photoshop. This way, I also tested out the functioning of the M1 Mac Mini with a mixture of Apple Silicon optimized and non-optimized applications at one shot. Watch this video to find out the conclusion.
Oh! I've covered a few good reasons why you might want to wait for a couple of more months before you go get this bad boy. Apple's expected to unveil a new lineup of iMacs (iMac 2021) and MacBook Pros (14 and 16 inch) with a newer Apple Silicon chip (maybe the M1x or M1z?), so that might be a reason to wait.
