Coming back here after Toriyama passed away hurts to be honest. But at the same time I’m happy that he was able to make many stories. All have made an impact in some way, but his most well known story Dragon Ball has defined a generation and created a legacy that will never be forgotten and it all started when a character named Son Goku met a girl named Bulma.
Thank you for everything Toriyama. Farewell.

All of these themes are so fitting for the characters. Vegeta's theme is powerful, Goku's feels hopeful, Beerus' is Godlike, and Frieza's is just full of tyranny. Divide's work is just so fucking good, it's inspiring to say the least.

Do you know what I hear whenever the Lyrics yell "power in my hands"? Power in my prayers! If I were in that situation, or even in the middle of the fight. I would be on the ground praying for safety.
Going through every video I know of the series because of Toriyama-san's passing. Every song hits differently now in stings but still makes me smile.

I have been listening to you for two years now. This song especially the intro part is immediately and some of the bridges to the chorus are really done very smooth and powerful. They feel like Goku was writing this song and add to the character part.
Keep doing what you do, this song is one of your best of all time. Pride, the Uncle Iroh Song and Power are some of my all time favorites.

This track is unreal Divide! The drums, the guitars, the strings, the brass and those god tier epic vocals. It's actually insane that you can keep outdoing yourself so consistently, love every second of this 🔥
The fact that you keep every character's song in the same style for each series is just amazing. Like hearing this song and thinking back to Vageeta's song are just a badass combination. And like how Overhaul's is really heavy and evil sounding while Deku's is upbeat and hard hitting, it's just amazing. Keep up the amazing work and I cant wait for the day you make one for other villains like Perfect Cell or Zamasu/Goku Black. keep rocking on!🤘
It's an amazing song as always, but I don't hear Goku in this. Most of the things just don't seem like what Goku would say. Especially that one line: "I will return with no mercy, hear you scream". Goku is like the most merciful guy ever. He has literally let villains get away just because they asked him to. Also he doesn't like to see others suffer or hear them scream. He is in no way sadistic, he just loves fighting. I'm a huge Dragon Ball fan so I have to be a little critical, but it doesn't change that it's a good song that I'll definitely listen to again.
Goku did have a genuine moment of absolute animalistic rage after Zamazu revealed the murder of Goten and Chichi and a similar thing happened when Krillin was first killed by Freeza triggering the first ever Super Saiyan transformation.
By the time the baddies have been beaten, Goku always overcame these murderous feelings, but it doesn't mean he never experiences them. It adds another layer to his character that I enjoy, as somewhat childish as it is.

I know this is late but remember how Goku was after he decided to kill Z Broly? He became a straight killer in that scene, no mercy and even gave Broly another layer of PTSD.
Sadly, I JUST noticed this.
When Broly rushed Goku and Vegeta in the first fight, Vegeta didn't move until he had to block Broly.
Goku prepared his battle stance before Broly even REACHED Vegeta.
Such a small, but amazing detail, God that movie rocks.

Let me tell you something. When I first heard this song, it made me realize that some of these songs were uplifting and inspire me to do better and to keep doing my best at this day and age.
And this song in particular inspires me to push through and break my limits no matter how tough it is just like Goku.

I'm hyped. Divide's other Dragonball songs made me start watching it.
Best way to watch it if you want to get through it semi quick is watch an explanation video of the og dragon ball(not from CBR or screenrant because they don't care if that are right and 9.9 times out of 10 they get things wrong) and then watch dbz(not the Kai version of you want the original dub without changing anybodys characters) and then watch super.
@@devika2545 Honestly people hate on the original series way too much. Sure it's not as flashy as Z or Super but it's still an awesome shonen that introduces some amazing characters and concepts.
This easily became one of my personal favorite songs! It fits on more people than just Goku, myself included, and shows a mix of his love for fighting and the heroic nature he has in Z, GT, and the non-Tournament sagas of Super. At first Goku was wanting to fight people like Frieza and Goku Black because he wants to know how strong they are, but as he sees for himself how truly evil they are through Vegeta's first death or the destruction of Trunks' Future, his competitive fighting spirit turns into a heroic one. You can still see that shift in his fights with Beerus as the God of Destruction was hellbent on destroying Earth for being treated with disrespect (Thanks Buu), and during the Cell Games after he realizes his oversight with placing the fate of his planet and everyone on it to Gohan, being that Gohan doesn't even like fighting to begin with.
The Adrenline in this Song really FIRED ME UP! A LEGENDARY take on 1 of my most favorite Fictional Characters of all time that sounds so friggin' outstanding!
