So convenient for the FID to not had a director at this time when a very serious investigation is at hand.
The Integrity Commission has enough evidence to forward the report to the prosecutor .eg. use of charity money for personal use. transfer of money from SSL, properties unaligned to earnings.Thosr should be sufficient for prosecution.

The report should have been split. The report concerning the one year that was dealing with the bank accounts is one report over one year.
The second investigation concerning the companies and reference to TAJ and FID both must now look into the stuff deeperas the IC has said they are uncomfortable with what they see but cannot decide if it is OK or not.

Another point worth noting is the repeated statement that the IC tabled the report. The IC in fact cannot table a report they submit it for tabling and the speaker tables it. I recall Juliet Holness refusing to table reports until she read them and in one instance sending it back. For all the JLP parliamentarians if there were issues with the report you should have sent it to oversight before tabling. This is literally not the IC problem
Exactly. They seized the opportunity to shutdown further investigations and look at the person on the oversight committee. The integrity oversight committee should be independent of political alignment. As a matter of fact there should be none just give more power to the IC

The IC created this problem. FID should be asked first before they seek overseas investigators and waste tax payers money, too much confusion.
Maybe the IC didn't go to the FID first because they didn't feel the FID would be impartial.

It's obvious that the JLP members don't want any accountability. I guarantee you that if the shoes were on the other foot, they would be singing a different tune.
You should note the IC had all the opportunity prior, to have FID and TAJ to assist dem with the investigation over the 3 years they had a forensic accountant report in hand too and having the power to so send the report too...however they submitted a half baked report to fuel speculation and discontent missing critical documentary evidence....casting a could of implicit corruption over the parliament .. Is either dem corrupt or inept well not that buf deliberately bringing the government into disrepute

There is no witch hunt. If you have nothing to hid allow the investigations to continue . The investigation and report is incomplete. This is not about politics as how you make it seems and have Jamaicans divided by politics. Jamaica is bigger than any political party

I think it should be noted as well that the IC did contact the FID early in its investigation and was instructed by the FID to submit the referral after the tabling.
