Too bad you don't have the original grips from your CZ50. They're more comfortable and, for me anyway, better looking than the 70 grips. Three years ago, I picked up a CZ70 at a show for $150. It did come with the factory magazine, but had nasty home made plywood grips (with splinters!) First, I found some cheap repro CZ50 grips online. Then later a set of factory 70 grips. But the 70 grips were uncomfortable. So I left the 50 grips installed for the range. I also got lucky at shows, finding a spare CZ factory mag for $15 and an original CZ50/70 police holster for $10, because many sellers don't know much about old CZ parts and accessories. My CZ70 is now one of my favorite surplus 'Iron-Curtain' pistols. Maybe I can find a bargain CZ50 to go with it. Good luck with your pair.
I like the Turkish walnut grips I bought for my cz50. I am planning on eventually getting a set for the CZ70. The factory grips just make my hand ride way yp and I know I will have slide bite
@@willwood487 Yeah, those Turkish grips are nice. I got a set for a .32 Beretta and a reblued German .32 Ortgies that was missing its' factory grips. They're pricey though. I don't know why CZ put that uncomfortable 'hump' on the 70 grips. It's not on the 50 grips. Those are shaped more like your Turkish ones, don't push my hand up, and may still turn up cheap on eBay.
