Jonathan being the one who didn’t have powers like Clark and Jordan wasn’t a investigator reporter like Lois kinda made him what too help people any way he can I wasn’t surprised that he jumped on the junior firefighters the guys is a leader at heart he got his dad heart and his moms courage what Sam said he nature born leader
This. This is the more irritating part. He was a lot harder on Jordan when Jordan needed supportive mentoring. To be fair to Sam Lane, he had little clue what kind of training Clark had to get to that point.
Sam definitely seems to have faith in Jonathan using kryptonian powers responsibly. We even see more of the complicated relationship between Clark and Sam as Sam didn't want Clark marrying Lois in the past.
It's not favoritism to recognize that one son has more leadership potential than the other. Jordan and Jon are equally loved, but they're not interchangeable.
And even knowing that... would you leave? Would you live a miserable life just for others without the possibility of love or happiness for yourself? I certainly wouldn't.
He’s right about Jonathan. He’s a born hero, before he even got powers. And the flashback with Clark was good as well.

Jonathan finally went from firefighter to superhero.
Yes, that's right. Jonathan is born to be a hero and leader. He has the mind and heart for this.

Always playing the blood relation card with Jonathan, Lois little favorite.
Jordon: If your not with me then mankind is my enemy
Talk about having a favorite. The general must have forgotten that Jordan saved his life. Twice.

There is clear evidence that Jonathan is the favorite child, its understandable why Jordan feels how he feels
Just don't want him to turn evil, cause they still did everything to make him feel special.
This is why i csn understand jordan. He feels left out. Like Sam didn't care really when Jordan got his powers.
NGL, Sam has a point about Clark marrying Lois.
Yup and when Superman died it only proved his point
@@Yvng_Zyexcept she was prepared and accepting of that possibility (she was raised with that possibility with her father).
