people escaping country in war, should only be the ones allowed to apply for asylum.
There is no war in South America, or in India.

Agree, there is no war or tensions in India. But immigration system has so many loopholes , people are taking advantage of that

Why are taxpayer's paying $40000 for each asylum seeker when seniors, veterans and families are sleeping in tents and lining up at food banks?

probably because veterans and families are legally allowed to work here, and seniors had 40+ years to save some money.

But some asylum seekers add to the community. Some are skilled and educated that they can add something to Canada. There is no country that doesn’t need outsiders if it needs to grow

@@Uncensored-Updates That's weird, because there are actually very few countries that allow in any significant number of outsiders, and they're all western democracies.

@@alanj9978 maybe it's targeting world cup and after world cup everything will go back to normal. Qatar did the same, it allowed many workers increased salaries improved workers conditions because it wanted to market itself worldwide in terms of attracting investors. Many buildings and other projects were finished because labour force was available. Unfortunately after world cup , termination of workers started, illegal immigrants were deported and many companies closed but good enough the development remained

Maybe solve the problems that are causing people to not want babies instead of importing the world into those same problems.

Nice, Canada short in generating babies (short 50,000 babies annually), so Canada BROUGHT 1.8 million Indians (from two ethnicity) in 2024 to replace the shortage!! WHAT IS GOING ON!

Ya'll brought a Immigration lawyer, someone who directly benefits financially from all this to be an expert on the negative impacts of our immigration and asylum's system? 190,000 people illegally crossed from Canada into the United states in the past 3 years, yet she considers it a small amount.

I am an immigrant turned Canadian. I had to score points to come here, and I gave a job interview and cracked it on day 3 after arrival. Paying hefty taxes, integrating with culture, following the law of land just to see this country turning into a mess! Seeing govt favoring frauds, leeches and unproductive foreigners over hard working and honest people.

It just really sucks that we all have to deal with this now -- as Canadians voted in Peoplekind and his administration.

Anyone notice the Western world over. No one is doing deep in-depth studies on how population, immigration, and asylum affect the environment, the culture, houaung and food prices, public opinion. All these pro-immigration groups FEAR such a study because they care less about cultural genocide, cost of living, loss of valuable farmland, development, cost of living, housing, or rental supply.
The number one reason in the world for climate change is OVERPOPULATION. It's also the number one reason for migration. Overpopulated places are typically the worst places to live and have the least favorable outlook for quality of life.
This liberal speaking her says we need more immigrants because we aren't having babies. How about the fact that only 60% of this nation works??? That's what the current workforce participation rate is. We don't need more people. We need more people here who want to work.

She’s a wrong person to talk to about immigration issues. She is an immigration lawyer who makes a lot of money from immigrants. It costs $1.1 billion for asylum seekers. Provinces are struggling to provide services to Canadians because they have to accommodate sudden influx of 3 million immigrants. Ground realities are bad. Interview someone who is unbiased.

    • @handzus19
      @handzus19 วันที่ผ่านมา

Yep. Immigration law practices are booming right now and fairly lucrative -- opposed to other areas of the legal field, which are on the decline.

This is very unfair, I came into this country as a student, invested into the Canadian economy, worked very hard and kept to the laws of this country before I could earn my permanent residency. Its very disheartening to see visitors who don't want to leave apply for asylum with made up stories and get PR and Citizenship within 3 years.
What is my reward for being a good immigrant going by the books? Sometimes, I feel regretful, I probably should have taken this route and save my self the wasted years and resources. Can someone help me rationalize this?
