Congrats on the two milestones. Also, have to say that you made an excellent point that I resonate with, but never really crystalized before. Fascination for a mechanical movement over a quartz comes, at least in part, from the ability to intuitively understand the workings of the former, but only conceptually for the latter.
I appreciate the time and effort it takes to continue to put content out there. This is especially true considering the adverse comments you sometimes receive from those that hide behind the anonymity of the internet. I look forward to your reviews and opinions; keep up the good work!
Congratulations and well deserved. I follow over twenty horological TH-cam channels and I’m always happy to see when you post a new video as I know it will offer something different, always entertaining and thought provoking. Keep up the great work.
One little sacrifice I've had to make is not watching horological channels myself, just to try and keep my thoughts as original as possible ^^, thanks for the vote of confidence I appreciate it.
Part of the pleasure of owning a watch with an automatic movement, unlike a quartz, is getting to interact with it on a regular basis by re-setting the time at least weekly. I also feel much more connected to it knowing that it is my own body movement that powers it. There is the added bonus of not having environmentally questionable batteries to dispose of.
Wonderfully said. To add to that, I love the history aspect of it. This is how our ancestors kept track of time. In a world where even clothes are getting 'smart', it's nice to look at something which totally works on springs and gears.
Yes congratulations on hitting 2K subscribers. 🎉🎉 Being an amateur at watch collector, like to get input from various sources. You hit that area of affordable watches and which ones are good. So Thank You for what you have done.
I've tried a few Timex watches over the years. And pretty much done with them. I've had one ana-digi model where the indiglo came on every time I used the stopwatch, indices coming unglued, and a +$100 watch with acrylic crystal. Certainly, I didn't expect them to outperform a Casio when it comes to buildquality and functionality, but that's just what makes a bad watch...imo.
All fair comments, I do like the T80 though, got a review of that coming soon, I think it's got a good shout as best of the rest when it comes to budget digital. Also got a review of the Oceanus I got in Japan coming out probably around January, I think that's a fairer comparison to the model in this particular video.
Well deserved milestone and many more to come! 🎉
Thank you, means a lot, I know you've been following since very early

It took me quite a while to think through and put into words ^^

Congrats on 2k subscribers! I enjoy your videos 😊
Thank you
Your growth on the channel is amazing. Probably in 2 or 3 years you will have 100k. and we'll deserved
I really doubt it'll be anything like that but thanks for the vote of confidence

Pretty sure the M79 was more comfortable on the wrist because the Q has already ripped all the hair out!
You deserve more viewers.
Thank you
