There’s so many times when the Prince is such a jerk (yes, I know he has his reasons), but there’s also times like this when he’s so considerate of her, and it breaks my heart that their lives are filled with complications as he truly does love her.

Да, дать что-то, предварительно унизив. Такие хитросплетения не для меня. Хитрость и лукавство зашкаливает в дораме. Ни за что не стала бы есть. Не смогла бы. В таком гадюшнике не выжила бы. Даже благие намерения не осуществляются без какой нибудь интриги, подкола, хоть и внешнего, но пренебрежения.

I think he was misguided in his actions he use his concubine to protect the crown princess from the queen. But he could have at least taken a moment to explain this to her in some way. Instead he was subtly showing ways of caring about her, disguised as insults- like preparing the crab knowing she was watching and changing his mind from the concubine to her enjoying watching her eat. I did feel sorry for that poor servant guy who thought he was being offered the crab to eat, he was so pleased then disapointed. it was also unfair on this concubine was led to believe he loved and cared for her.
For some background info. The handmaid of Xiao feng sent longevity noodles to sese for her birthday since xiao feng didn't give her one. Sese purposely gave herself food poisoning and blamed it on Xiao feng. The prince knew it but feigned ignorance. Hence the scene.
He said he can use everyone but he didn't wanted to use her , it was true when he said this but he did use her even if he didn't wanted to , revenge, jealousy, immaturity got him into a tragedy i pity him because it is true he didn't wanted to use her he loved her but he was blinded by revenge although i pity him but i hate him more

I really like crabs, too bad I'm allergic to it; my lips go plump and itchy, and my chest would hurt, like being poured with chili powder. This allergy didn't start until I was 12. So I really want those crabs right there. And also the way he used many tools to open that crab, irritates me, my grandma uses her hand to open it!
