      Wa alaikum salaam! Glad you enjoyed it :)
      In my tents in Mina and Muzdalifa there were plugs yes, and also USB sockets. (it was an Al-rajhi tent) But I can't speak for all tents as some of the cheaper ones may not have it.
      I also brought 2 portable power packs just in case and did end up using one of them during those days.

      @@raiseyourdeen JAK for responding. I think you mentioned somewhere you were going to do a video on things to take with you. If you could do it sooner rather than later, we would have time to prepare. If you could also consider a female perspective and include that too, that would be wonderful.
      But just one quick question, what do you think about taking a personal, portable AC, like the brand Arctic Air Chill

      Portable fan is definitely useful. The ones with the mist spray are amazing. They actually sell these fans in many of the markets there so you don't really need to take one. But if you want to, it will come in handy.

      @raiseyourdeen  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Each group of ~25 people were given a “guide” via Nusuk. This was someone that has been for Hajj before or is familiar with the area. They were varied in how helpful they were and sometimes you had to ask them for help to get it. But yes, there is someone there to be your guide.

    Alhamdulillah.
    It was a blessing to be there.
    I couldn’t stop smiling as you described my exact experience 2023 hajj. With the buses to Mina (the driver got lost it took hours) at Arafat a whole country expected to sort themselves out on getting on the buses as they arrived which was so unsafe, the very unclean toilets (forget about OCD’s the minute you land in Saudi)
    Hajj is definitely not a vacation for sure and for those who are thinking of going just remember why you’re there and Sabr is all you need, PATIENCE and be very forgiving. I feel so humble after the trip.
    May Allah SWT accept our hajj and May others experience it.

    • @raiseyourdeen
      @raiseyourdeen  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hahaha. We did a shifting package. It depends what your priority is. If you want to have easy access to Masjid Haram during the days of Hajj then non-shifting is best. But shifting gives easy access to your hotel during the days of Mina.
      I will say that with our non-shifting package, we did find getting to the Masjid a hassle sometimes. We would have to get a taxi (very pricey) or a bus (was always full) so a non-shifting may be better. I believe non-shifting is slightly more expensive as well.
      If you want to use your hotel for showers or whatever during the days of Mina, then shifting is better.

    Salaam Brother can I ask which is better shifting or non shifting package. As shifting package you need to stay at Aziziya does this make it difficult to get to masjid Haram to do salah ? But at the same time does this make arriving at Mina faster

    • @raiseyourdeen
      @raiseyourdeen  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Wasalam. I had a shifting package. Each one has its own benefit and downside.
      - Shifting = Move to Azizyah halfway through. This made getting to Masjid Haram difficult. We had to take a bus or taxi to get there. However when the days of Mina started, Azizyah is within walking distance so it was beneficial to be able to walk from Jamarat and Mina back to our hotel.
      - Non-shifting will be nice for being able to easily access the Haram before the 10th Dhul Hajj but then Mina becomes more inconvenient. As you have nowhere to stay other than Mina.
      I actually think the Shifting package was slightly better overall. But both have their benefits.
      Hope that made sense.

      I only book the ’cheapest’ package available which timed perfectly with my holiday. It was ’cheaper’ campared to yours around 10K euros. I didnt think that we had the shifting vs non shifting package in Sweden last year. I stayed all the way anyhow at Holiday Inn in Aziziyah. The location of hotel is far ca 40min walk. They have shuttle busses to Haram every 20min or so but they shut down the services 2 days before Hajj and resumed a bit late after Hajj. So it was a trouble. To get to haram from hotel was ok with taxi, though they are charging extensively but I had the help from Allah to pay around 30 riyal per trip (i shared with canadian brother so the cost was only 15 riyal). But coming back from haram by taxi needs miracle 😄. Millions of people fighting for cars.
      Our luggages stayed at Holiday Inn through out the journey. We moved to Mina with the european camp where I had the same huge room with Sweden, Finland and Norway. I had no big expectation so everything felt ’wow’ for me. Subhanallah. No real complaints.
      Although Allah made it easy for me, I heard that some canadian pilgrims did not get rheir hotel rooms for 2 days and did not get bed reserved for them in Mina. Maybe the admin somehow miscounted them. So it went bad for them. More ajr insyaAllah for their patience and experience.
      The biggest negative i would say that since Al-Rajhi made partnership with local travel agents in Sweden, my group did not receive any real guidance. Everyone was technically on their own when it comes to doing the ibadah itself. So you have to have the knowledge.
      But Al Rajhi provided sheikh at each camp and whatsapp number to call or text if you need help. They have been very helpful.
      The location of european camp to jamarat is quite far but it is a good walk and you are there to do ibadat- of course if you have some physical hindrance then not to choose Al-Rajhi or any other provider that has camp at muaisim.
      All in all, travel there with the mindset of leaving everything to Allah and for Hajj. Be patience and make doa- a lot! InsyaAllah you will be fine

    three last questions brother - which book did you take to Mina brother?
    and when you said there was a mistake made at 9:10, was that because of the transportation from Arafat to Muzdalifah? Or from your Azizyah hotel to Muzdalifah? JazakAllah Khair

      1. I think it was "The Life of the Prophet Muhammad SAW" by Tahia al-Ismail

      3. They only had limited transport at the busiest times (afternoon and early evening) and thoses buses were packed, on a first come first served basis. So we decided to make our own way there. They never actually promised anything tbh. Most people were making their own way anyway.
