Just watched this on Netflix. All I can say is... I really needed this after Game of Thrones horrible last season. Awesome show all the way around... and the ending wasn't rushed and made sense.
I LOVED and ENJOYED so much to watch this serial..Was several times in Verssille.. Such an smazing story , excelkent costumes , acting , and the castle with surroundings...FABTASTIC PIECE OF CINEMATIC ART..
There isn't much more juicy details to continue. The palace is mostly complete. And Louis never had any more lovers after he married his 3rd mistress. So after that is a long time of boringness, until the next pivotal event, the arrival of Marie Antoinette in Paris.

Evan Williams should be cast as Errol Flynn, the heart throb in the 40's. Never seen anyone else that has the facial features to play him. Underneath Flynn's personal life, was a sex & drug addict. Think Evan William,s could bring his life's story to life.
Evan is such a good actor he really really made me believe he was gay with the way he moved and spoke during the show as well as his body language even his attitude as a proud french noble. Actually not good, he’s great!
