These calls are so funny, they are almost lethal. I am so envious of Jon Culshaw's abilities as a mimick.

He can do Pertwee but finds it difficult to keep up a full conversation.

This reminds me of the time my friend and I were drinking and somehow the idea was posited that as the giant radio telescope in Arecibo Puerto Rico was part of the SETI project that we should give them a bit of encouragement. So we placed a collect call to the Arecibo Observatory from Tau Ceti. As it was early Sunday evening we wound up getting a janitor who declined the charge. He probably made a note of it that a collect call from Tau Ceti was declined. You know there had to have been at least one guy saying "But what if actually a real attempt at communication but those damn Earthlings were too cheap to accept the charge."
