Hello, I watched the full video and appreciate your hard work. I want you to know my opinion on the video and hope that you will see to it in you next DIY project. Here are some points to look into: 1) You didn't show any results. I understand that it can't freeze water but atleast you could have shown the difference in temperatures before and after switching it on. For example, you could have shown that it was 25 deg C before and now it's 23 deg C. It doesn't matter how less the difference is, what matters is to show that your project produced some results. 2) You didn't mention what the heat sink is made of, what register you are using, the circuit diagram, input power, etc. When you document your project, you should always explain 'clearly' how you are did it and what parts(and their ratings) you used. That's the main idea of documentation. 3) You should give a brief explanation of working of a refrigerator. This will help the viewers understand what part is working as the heat sink and which as a source and how is it going to cool the source. I hope this comment helps you and you will keep these points in mind for your next DIY project. Have a good time.
I think a better way to wrap the outside would be to use some duct tape, like actual shinny tape that they use in AC ducts. Because it has thermal properties to keep heat and cold in
As an electric engineer i know for sure it is not working properly. I worked on this project before i made some prototype. Those Peltier module are commonly used in cooling electronics components. the peltier thermoelectrics module is a very bad idea because it is consuming so much energy about 60 w and use most of the energy in heat. And considering the volume at most you'll reduce 2 Celsius. There's no regulator your system will work without restrictions you won't know if you reached the right temperature.
This is a great and creative idea but it would be more helpful to add a list of measurements for the foam board, all of the parts and how you hooked up the wires in the back. Otherwise, not everyone will know how to set this up. Still, a very clever and useful idea!
Guys he is using peltier elements, which can take heat from one side to the other, the two cpu cooler, I think both blowing wind into the thin "sheets" of the aluminium, the the side wich will be cold turning into the refrigerator, thats all
